Regret

Margo considered ignoring the doorbell but after a moment headed downstairs to see who was at the door. She pulled the door open and stared at the tall man with red-blond hair. It took her a moment to recognize him.

"Ian, hi. Come in." Her tone was curious. She had only met him once when she had picked up the blood supply and gone to the feeder den.

"Hello, Margo." Ian said his Irish accent rolling across her as he stepped into the house.

Margo watched the man with interest. Why was he here and how did he know she would even be here? People seemed to be getting more curious by the day.

"What can I do for you?" Margo walked toward the kitchen hoping to find a bottle of blood wine and offer the man a drink. He was a clan leader after all, and networking was important. After a few minutes she found what she was looking for and offered a glass to Ian, which he accepted.
