Everything everyone did was suspicious.
How did I not know I had 20% of shares, who gave me 20% shares? Dalton picked the glass of drink on his desk and gulped the entire liquid in his mouth before smashing the glass on the wall.
I closed my eyes from the impact. "You're playing a dangerous game Adara. You'll sign the document wether you like it or not. You'll beg me to sign it." His words made me shiver.
"Get out." Dalton said.
"GET OUT!! He yelled and I quickly dashed out of his study room. He was mad at me but I didn't care. Dalton laid his hands on me. The man in the room isn't the same person I had met at the introduction party. This is a different person, a monster.
I shuddered as I walked out of the room, all the courage I had before was slipping out of me, turning me into the scary defenceless girl I used to be.
