Chapter 7: Searching for the Villain!

3rd pov

In the Dark Tower, Hadrian could be seen sitting on his Throne, while drinking a mug of ale which was served by one of the women he took from the human settlement as personal slaves.

Hadrian took only the most beautiful ones he had in the human settlement, then put on a slave collar that Gnarl had for some reason kept, left them only wearing rags, and made them serve him.

"Master, the Minions have already placed all the riches of the Human Settlement in the Treasury" Said Gnarl as he approached Hadrian and bowed to him.

"Hmmm, great, what about the Spawning Pits? Are the slaves already cleaning or are they serving...other things?" Hadrian asked as he drank his ale before holding out his ale mug to the slave girl standing next to him to refill her mug.

"They are cleaning the Spawning Pits, sire, the Browns and Greens haven't had a chance yet, the ladies have priority tasks first" Gnarl replied.

Hadrian nodded seriously while drinking his beer, he would be using the Slaves to help have more Minions in a more...natural way, as he remembers perfectly that in the Good Ending of Overlord 1, there was a Brown Minion who had a human wife....and several small minions.

"Have you been researching more settlements in the region? What about the Outpost I ordered to be created in the Marshes to secure control of that region?" Hadrian asked.

"We found some settlements, plus a City to the North, Mi'lord, from what we saw, the city is full of riches and other things, however, sire, I suggest you focus first on increasing the size of your Horde" Said Gnarl while looking at Hadrian with a serious look and scratching his chin.

"Hmmm, I agree..." Said Hadrian as he got up from his Throne, took his helmet that was next to him, and put it on, in addition to taking his Ax that was nearby.

"Let's make a small conquest in the other settlements, the more slaves the better" Said Hadrian as he went to the Tower Portal.

"I already left the areas marked in the Tower Portal, sire, you will only have to go to these settlements" Said Gnarl as he followed behind Hadrian.

Hadrian nodded, then he arrived at Tower Portal and looked at it, being able to see images of some settlements that appeared to be Agricultural Areas, some more developed than others, he also saw a settlement that was close to a beach.

Thinking seriously, Hadrian decides to go first to the seats that are in the Agricultural Areas, in order to get more Lifeforce.

Hadrian then closed his eyes and thought of one of the settlements, it was then that he felt his body being sucked in before opening his eyes and appearing near a field full of wheat.

He looked around and back and could only see this, fields and more fields of wheat, he then focused on the Minion Portals that started to appear near the Tower Portal he had under him.

Hadrian then summoned all available Minions and began preparing to bring more chaos to this world.

"Get ready, my little devils!" Said Hadrian in a rather happy tone as he went with the small Horde of Minions to attack the human settlement.

In the First Settlement that Hadrian took over.

The Fairies of the Magic Forest, who were trying to go after the person who destroyed their Forest and brutally killed one of their sisters, arrived at the settlement that Hadrian dominated.

"By Mother Nature...what happened to these people?!' asked one of the Elder Fairies as she looked on in horror at the state of the human settlement.

Houses were burned or completely destroyed, some animal bodies decomposing in certain parts of the settlement, with the Villagers not even bothering to burn or something, after all, they were busy working without their Overlord.

The Fairies were horrified to see people who looked like a bunch of zombies, all with their heads down, shuffling their feet as they walked, thin bodies because they barely ate, just the "necessary", as well as for sleep, as they had to focus on their work.

"I-sister, it's like the people here are all being mind controlled, who would do such a horrible thing?!" He asked one of the Elder Fairies to the other in horror as he had a hand covering his face, being heartbroken to see the state of the human children, which was not the best.

"I don't know, but if I have to imagine... it's the same monster that did those repugnant acts against our Forest and our Sister" she replied to another Elder Fairy as she clenched her fists, anger rising in her.

"If it is, we need to find him as soon as possible! I think we should split up and each group goes in one direction, to catch the culprit and make him be judged for the crimes committed!" Said a Fairy with a voice that showed full anger and hatred, the other Fairies and Elder Fairies agreed with that.

"Okay! One group to the North, another to the West, another to the East, and mine will go to the South" Said an Elder Fairy while looking at the other Elder Fairies, who nodded in agreement.

"Lady, what about the Humans? We'll help them, right?" asked a young faerie as she was looking pityingly at the villagers in the settlement.

"Yes, my dear, let's free the people from this vile control that was over them" Answered the Elder Fairy before taking his magic wand, this was followed by the other Fairies who soon tried to use a Spell to get the people out of control of the settlement from Hadrian.

However, it wasn't having any positive effects, only negative ones, with the humans trying to attack the Faeries like a pack of wild animals.

"Take them! Our Master will like the offerings!" Yelled an old human as he tried to catch a fairy, who managed to fly away.

"By Mother Nature...the Spell that is on them is worse than we imagined" Said an Elder Fairy as she looked at the humans who were unsuccessfully trying to capture any Fairy that was in front of them.

"Ma'am! What shall we do?" Asked a fairy as she approached the Elder Fairy.

"Let's get out of here, we must look for the culprit for this as soon as possible, only then do we free these souls from the clutches of the vile villain who is to blame for this!" He declared the Elder Fairy, with her then flying into the air, which was soon followed by the other Fairies.
