Chapter 46: The proposal

Robert Oak moved towards the Still Pond Dungeon. He was a giant with a mission. Becca, the giantess who Chavu summoned for him to romance, was surprised when he had told her the truth.

Which was that he was no real detective. That he was unemployed, even. She was, too, but she was guarding the roads in her spare time and had dealt with two bandit bands already. Soon, the king was going to notice her and grant her the position as a guard full-time.
