Sandhausen, hailing from Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is a club that has often fluctuated between Germany B and C leagues. They share the woes of Union Berlin, being no stranger to financial constraints. In the 2015-2016 season, they resorted to unconventional sponsorship from a venue called "Hive," justifying it as an eco-friendly initiative.

Sandhausen's manager attempted to justify: "Hive is the epitome of eco-consciousness, far superior to tobacco and alcohol sponsors."

Now, Sandhausen posed as a formidable obstacle in Union Berlin's battle against relegation. With both teams neck and neck in the standings, the loser would plunge into the dreaded relegation zone.

Coach Schwarz voiced in the pre-match press conference: "Union Berlin's main striker's injury is advantageous to us. With their weakened attack, we can assertively press forward."

In Sandhausen's tactical briefing, the assistant coach expressed doubt. "Are we really going on the offensive against Union Berlin?"

"Absolutely. While they're vulnerable, we'll exploit their weaknesses and score two early goals!" Schwarz exuded confidence.

Union Berlin's first team had struggled to find the net, with less than 10 goals in 10 games. Neuhaus, their coach, maintained a reserved stance, aiming for a solitary point in the home game.

On match day, fans clad in red jerseys converged around the Old Forest Management Office stadium, their unity palpable.

Despite dwindling stadium attendance across the league, Union fans packed their newly renovated stands, over 22,000 strong, casting the stadium in a sea of red.

For these fans, Union represented a cause they had supported with their blood, a club embodying the spirit of the working class.

However, an air of uncertainty hung over the fans. The team had managed only one win in their last five games, conceding 10 goals.

Notably absent from the starting lineup was a mysterious name on the bench, sparking curiosity among the fans.

A disgruntled balding fan named Bud vented his frustrations. "He's a Chinese player, and his antics with my son in nightclubs are no secret!"

Hans, the leader of the Berlin United Fans Association, offered a contrasting opinion. "He's not the reckless type you think he is. I've seen him working tirelessly during the stadium renovations. He may just bring us luck."

As the match commenced, Sandhausen seized early control, pressuring Union Berlin. Fans rose to their feet, rallying behind their team, though recent defeats had dampened spirits.

In the opening minutes, Union's French right-back, Marc Pfetzel, slipped, allowing Sandhausen to seize an opportunity and take the lead.

Groans filled the stadium as fans feared the worst. Could this spell Union Berlin's descent into relegation?

Even Su Luo, seated on the bench, questioned the team's fortunes. How many goals behind would they be when he entered the fray?

The debut seemed more like a trial by fire. But then again, maybe that's just how fate deals its hand.
