Entering Melromarc

As the carriage bumps up and down the bumpy road the butterfly's in my chest just keep getting bigger and bigger so I hug my mum tighter and tighter. My mum noticed it and starts to pat my head to sooth my nervs.. it works and I start to fell asleep.

Time skip (When they reach Melromarc)

I feel a light tap on my head as I begin to stir awake

"Hnn....hnhn... good morning *yawns*" (Violet)

"It's the middle of the afternoon *giggles*" (Marry)

'Oh I must of been so worried, at least I got some sleep I should thank mum' (Violet)

"Thank you" (Violer)

"Your welcome" (Marry)

"That's us here guys, time to get going we don't want to keep them waiting" (Matthew)

After my dad says that my mum lifts me up and carries me ... I know I'm 10 but it's never to late to be held by your mum it's relaxing.

We walk through the gate and we're instantly met by people staring at us more specifically our animalistic features. It's scary. Really scary. I want to cry, but I'll keep strong, to stop myself crying I buried my head inside the crook of my mums neck as I do that she strokes my hair to keep me calm and its working very well my tail is all curled up beside me instead of hanging down normally.

"It's okay little lady don't let them get to you, if they do anything I'll help.. *mutters* not that I'll need to help you." (Matthew)

As we walk towards our location I still feel the constant glares of the merchants and random people going about their day.

I look up to notice the building we were infront of was a massive 3 story's tall building which said adventurers guild on a sign attached to it.

'So this is the big adventurers guild dad talk about... so. Cool 😯' (Violet)

We step in and we're instantly assaulted by noise instantly my ears flatten ontop of my head to quell the influx of noise. But all of a sudden it stops and that was scarier than the walk over here.

"*whisper* is that Matthew the demi-human guild master of Siltvelt" (Adventurer 1)

"*whisper* I'm quite sure it is, if it is him then that must be his demi-human wife and daughter" (Adventurer 2)

"*whisper* why does a dambed demi-human like him deserve to live a great life as a guild master and have a family" (Adventurer 1)

"*whisper* I bet he used some demi-human tricks to get guild master" (Adventurer 2)

'Why? Why are they so mean to dad? Is it just because he is a demi-human? Thats stupid. I hate it here already' (Violet)

"*whisper* just ignore them honey they can't do anything to harm us" (Marry)

'I know that. I know that muk but it's still scary' (Violet)

To escape reality I dove my head straight into my mums neck again. We continue on towards stairs but as we begin to walk up them I made the mistake of looking up and what I saw was the whole guild of scary men and women all staring at us with looks which makes me feel like the scum of the earth ... I quietly put my head back into the crook of my mums neck and let out a few tears.

'It's scary. It's scary. I want to go home. It's. So. Scary.' (Violet)

We continue up the stairs and reach the 3rd floor where we come before a double door which someone opens and we're let inside.

"Hello, Matthew." (???)

Ps sorry for the late chapter today, and there might be no chapter tomorrow I'm spending time with my boyfriend for the first time in a while
