Immortal banquet

On the ninth day of the first lunar month. It was the birthday of the Jade Emperor. The heavenly realm is hosting a banquet to celebrate his birthday. Many of the notable immortals and the divines received an invitation to join. At the golden gate, Melvin greeted the guests on their arrival.

Two men riding on the clouds arriving at the golden gate. Melvin raised both his hands to his chests to give a fist and palm salute towards them. "Welcome to the heavenly realm, Underworld Lord and Master Woon!"

Underworld lifted his left hand, with the palm facing upward. He magically transformed a chessboard to appear on his left hand. A big smile on his face, he informed Melvin, "This is the birthday gift for the jade emperor!"

Melvin bowed slightly and grabbed the chessboard from underworld lord, "Arh! A magic chessboard! Thank you for the gift" The heavenly guard took the chessboard from Melvin and deliver them into Jade emperor's study room.

The heavenly maids escorting the Underworld lord into the hall. Master Woon remained at the golden gate to accompany his good friend, Melvin to greet the guests.

Not long after, Rachel, Moa and Luffa arrived at the golden gate. Master Woon nudged Melvin, "The jungle realm clans are here!" The trio came down from the cloud and walked toward Melvin. They bowed at each other to exchange a greeting.

Melvin smiled at Luffa, Moa, Luffa, "Welcome to the heavenly realm, Luffa! Rachel and Moa!"

Rachel gave Melvin a jug of alcohol, "This is a birthday gift for the jade emperor, a high quality fermented peach alcohol."

Master Woon gulped. He loves peach alcohol. "Rachel, didn't you bring me a jug of alcohol too?"

Rachel chuckled, "I will bring you a bottle of peach alcohol next time!"

Melvin smiled towards them, "Oh! Thank you very much for the wonderful gift! Please follow the heavenly maidens, they will bring you to your seat!" He gently swung both his hand towards the heavenly maid.

The heavenly maids bobbed a curtsy towards the guests and lead them into the hall. A heavenly guard took the jug of alcohol and deliver it to the study room of the jade emperor.

Shortly after, Poseidon and his queen arrived at the golden gate. As soon as he stepped down from the clouds, he turned his head gently to the right and then gently to the left to stretch his head. "Without the water, I am suffocating here! Here is the gift for the jade emperor. A singing coral." Poseidon smirked at Melvin and Master Woon.

Melvin bowed at Poseidon and his wife, "Thank you for the gift and welcome to the heavenly realm." Melvin passed the gift to the heavenly guard.

A strong wind suddenly blew, Hera steps down from the cloud. Everyone at the golden gate bowed at the divine of water, Hera.

Poseidon took a few steps towards Hera and wrap his arm around her shoulder, "Mother, it's good to see you here!".

Hera smiled at her son and hold his hand.

Melvin and Master Woon gave a fist and palm salute towards Hera, "Welcome to the heavenly realm, Hera!".

Hera magically transformed a transparent tear shaped pendant and gave it to Melvin, "A droplet pendant for the jade emperor."

The heavenly maids escorted Hera, Poseidon, and his wife to the hall.

Kenji, Maxim and Katrina arrived at the same time. Everyone bowed towards the divines.

"It's an honour for us to have the three of you to visit us at Heavenly realm." Melvin greeted them.

Kenji gave wooden beads to Melvin, "This is for the jade emperor. It will release flagrance when he is stress! I heard that he is stress lately, that's why I made one for him!"

Maxim gave a vermilion pendant to Melvin. "Birthday gift for the jade emperor. This vermilion pendants help to keep the jade emperor warm!"

Katrina gave a box containing an elixir to Melvin, "This elixir is for the jade emperor. To boost his health!"

Melvin took the gifts and passed them to the heavenly guard, "Thank you for the gift. Please follow me to the hall. Everyone is here now." He escorted the divines to the hall, together with Master Woon.

In the shimmering hall, the seven princesses of the Jade emperor were performing a dance to the visitors. Jade emperor and jade empress are sitting on the platform, facing the guests. Flashing a big smile on their faces, lifting their cups to give a toast to their guests every now and then.

Rachel looked around the hall. She babbled to Luffa and Moa, "Solaris is not here again!"

Luffa glared at Rachel, "Did you expect her to turn up? She knew you will kill her!"

Moa sighed in frustration, "I am desperate to kill her too!"

After 10,000 years, they still have not given up looking for Asuna.

Master Woon and Melvin are sitting next to each other in the hall. Master Woon informed Melvin, "Melvin, the demon god had emerged in the mortal realm. He had destroyed the peony emblem that we engraved in Aliyah."

Melvin looked at Master Woon, "All the divines are here today, you can highlight to them. But I am sure Jade emperor will jump if you make such an announcement on his birthday party."

Master Woon chuckled, "He is going to hate me for being a party pooper but I am sure he wanted to announce it himself. I will help him to do it!"

Master Woon stood up slowly and lift his cup to give everyone a toast, "Cheers everyone! I wish you a wonderful birthday! I have an announcement to make."

A moment of silence. Everyone turned and looked at Master Woon as he began to speak. Underworld lord cast his eyes down, he knew his brother will be making some weird announcement. He whispered to himself, "Oh no! This is embarrassing!"

Melvin gulped his drink, he whispered to himself, "I was just joking! Is he serious?!"

Jade emperor had a bead of sweat on his forehead. He whispered to himself, "Come on! Not at my birthday party!"

Master Woon announced. "I just wanted to inform you all that the demon god had emerged in the mortal realm."

Jade emperor, Melvin, and underworld lord smack their heads with their palm. Jade emperor face turned black. He wasn't expecting Master Woon to announce about the demon god during his birthday party. "Master Woon never ceased to amaze me."

Luffa, Moa, and Rachel gasped in shock. Their bodies trembled, and their face looked worried. When they saw Queen Aliyah in the treehouse with Ahmed (Jamal), they knew he sneaks out from the jungle.

Poseidon responded to Master Woon announcement, "Ocean realm will always offer to help. But, I must remind you again, we are powerless when we are in the land. "

Master Woon nodded in agreement, "Thank you, Poseidon! I understand completely. I am just making an announcement so you all will be aware."

The divines looked at each other and nodded. Katrina responded to Master Woon, "Master Woon, a divine can never kill any living creature. So, we will not get involved in any war."

Master Woon nodded to acknowledge Katrina, "Thank you, Katrina! We all aware." He turned his head to look at Rachel.

Rachel was not responding to Master Woon. Her face is drawn with a worries expression. Luffa responded, "We are an alliance, we should help out as well." Moa nodded to agree with Luffa, Rachel slowly nodded her head to agree with Luffa.

Underworld Lord responded, "The hell realm will always offer our help!" He turned his head to look at the jade emperor. Jade Emperor gritted his teeth towards the underworld lord.

Jade emperor flashed a smile when he noticed everyone is looking at him. He responded, "The heavenly realm will definitely help."

Master Woon bowed at everyone to thank them.

Seven fabrics rolling down from the ceiling in long continuous flow. Seven princesses of the jade emperor fly towards the fabrics. Each of them grabbed a piece of fabric and start dancing to entertain the guests. Heavenly maidens playing their musical instruments.

In the Imperial Palace of Shilla, King Liam, Queen Ariel and Mori visit Olena in her chamber. Olena looked at them and smiled, "I am feeling much better now, thank you for dropping by to visit me."

Mori shook his head, "Master Woon informed us that the demon god had emerged in the mortal realm."

King Liam nodded, "Let's wait for him to give us advice. I have never seen a demon god, I am clueless."

Queen Ariel looked at King Liam, "Today is the jade emperor's birthday. Master Woon is in the heavenly realm to attend a banquet."

In the mortal realm, many people celebrated the birthday of the jade emperor. Red lanterns are dangling in every house. They hold a ritual at home by burning incense and make food offering to pay homage to the jade emperor.
