Flowers Bloom In The Night [BL]

Aarav first met the guy at a house party. Loud, flamboyant, and stuck up, complaining of how he can only eat vegan and his burberry jacket was not dry-cleaned yet, so he had to wear his back-up jacket. The exact kind that drove Aarav nuts. Ru, short for Rohan, that was how he introduced himself. Aarav walked away since he had little patience for spoiled, rich kids. He only wished for the guy to leave him alone! And of course, his wish was not granted. The entire party, the guy followed Aarav around, like an annoying bubble gum stuck under his shoe. Second time, they met when Aarav's ex-girlfriend needed help with babysitting the dogs. Ru turned out to be the annoying neighbor that dropped by to ask for extra sugar. Third time, they fucked. *Participating in WPC #247.* ----------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 15 Excerpt: “Do you want me to turn off the lights?” “Yeah,” Aarav answered weakly and pulled one end of the comforter over him. It was warm and cozy. He heard Ru walk over and climb into the bed. Five minutes had not gone by when Aarav turned and hugged Ru tightly. “You said…” Ru was alarmed. “Don’t worry. I just want to hug you,” Aarav admitted at last. At first, it was uncomfortable, hugging without sex, but then, Aarav relaxed. Ru, too, began to breathe easy. He smelled of fresh soap. Aarav sniffed his soft, curly hair and fell asleep within a minute. ------------------------------------------------------------ - Aarav is top and Ru is bottom. - There is SMUT. - Music suggestion is Love Scenario by IKON since who reads fluffy romances without music?!!

I Knew You Were Trouble- Part 2 [Rohan]

One moment it was 6 PM, and the next time Ru checked his watch, it was ten already. The phrase Time Is Fleeting came to mind, but Ru was happy. He had so much fun with Shyam. After their fabulous meal, they went to the arcade, and Ru kicked Shyam's ass at the basketball and foosball but lost horribly at the space-saving video game. Then, there were those kids giving Ru the side-eye when he got into the bumper car ride; Shyam was too much of a wimp to not come along, but at least he cheered for Ru from the sideline while Ru drove his car mercilessly through the hoards of other kids' cars.

Later, they chilled and just chatted on a bench over ice cream, and Ru pulled Shyam to a Dior outlet that he had been meaning to visit for the longest time. In return, Shyam dragged him to the Barnes and Nobles book store, where they browsed through rows upon rows of books. Ru found out that Shyam's favorite book was The Alchemist and that he loved spending hours in book stores without buying one. The last book Ru had read was his textbook in college, that too half-heartedly. If only he had time to peel his eyes away from the tweets and Instagram posts….

To save himself from the humiliation, Ru told him his favorite book was The Catcher in the Rye, one that was always lying around at his sister's place. It was an utter lie, and he did not even know what it meant, but Shyam looked very impressed. Thankfully, he had not read it yet, but it was on his reading list.

To not look like an ignorant peasant, Ru bought Heidi on his way out of the store. He loved the illustration of the little girl on the cover, surrounded by all the hills and cattle.

"Time to head home," Shyam announced when they emerged out of the mall. That was when Ru looked at his watch and saw it was ten already. Like a snap of the finger, the time had passed. Shyam offered to drop Ru off at his place, and when they arrived at the complex, it was awkward, to say the least. Ru had asked men back to his place in the past, but not on a first date, and especially not if they didn't show interest first. Shyam made things easier for them.

"I wished I did not have work early tomorrow," he mentioned, and Ru nodded.

"It's cool," he knew what that meant.

He gave Shyam a courteous smile, a warm hug, collected all his stuff, including the teddy that they had won at the basketball, and got out of the car. He walked back to the main doors of the building, with a sway in his gait, to make sure the guy in the car knew what he was missing if he was still looking at Ru.

Ru had just entered the elevators when his phone pinged. He glanced, and his lips curved with a satisfied grin. It was Shyam. He shared how much he loved the date, he used the word 'date'! And could not wait to hang out with Ru again, even asked when he was free next. Keep them waiting, Ru heard his sister's voice in his mind and decided to just keep the message at seen and play with the guy a little.

Aarav was still in the living room watching the news, when Ru strutted into the apartment. There was a tank top on him now, and the CPU was neatly put together and safely out of the way.

Ru walked over to him and held out the bag he was carrying for Aarav.

"Biryani, for you."

Aarav regarded the bag lazily for a second and then looked up at Ru. "I already had dinner."

"Really?" Ru asked, putting a hand on his waist, "What did you have?"

"Something I made. You are blocking my view," Aarav said dismissively, tilting to the side, not to miss the super-interesting piece of news playing on TV.

"Whatever." Ru walked over to the fridge to put away the biryani. It was chicken biryani. If Aarav did not finish by tomorrow, he would throw it away.

"You can have some, too. In the kitchen," Aarav mentioned, "it is vegan."

Ru clacked over to the sofa to take off his boots. "No, thank you. I had my dinner at the mall."

Ru got no response from Aarav and was not even sure he heard him.

Once Ru carefully stored away his boots and bag and the teddy, he walked over to the restroom to take off his makeup, the first step of his nightly routine. He was bending over the sink, rubbing his face with the cleansing milk, when Aarav barged into the restroom. It had happened before, but the other person usually left soon. But this time, Aarav stood hovering over Ru and kept fiddling into the cabinet right above the sink. Ru quickly washed the foam away, and when he came up, Aarav was still behind him, his arms reaching up to the cabinet with Ru stuck between them.

"I know what you are doing," Ru declared pointedly. "It won't work."

"What am I doing?" Aarav asked, looking all sweet and innocent, but Ru saw the twitch of his lips.

Ru snatched the towel from the bar and began to dry his face. "Can you give me some room? Can I get some room, please?"

"Sure. Sorry." Aarav retreated exactly two steps and but lingered on. He kept staring at Ru's reflection on the sink mirror. "Which mall did you go guys go to? Didn't pin you for a mall person."

Ru glanced back at Aarav's image and bit his lips. Why was he looking at him like that?! Like he was undressing Ru with his eyes! Ru was irked. "I am not, but it was fun."

Aarav scoffed. "What did you do?"

This time, Ru flashed the fakest smile he could muster, acutely aware of how Aarav dragged his piercing gaze down over his back and then up again until it stopped at his ass. "We ate, went to the arcade, checked out a bookshop and the new Dior outlet, and then," Ru chirped, "we had an ice-cream."

"That's it?" Aarav mocked, "Are you sure it was a date?"

"Yes, I am sure of it," Ru snapped. He had a text to prove. "Now, leave. I have to shower."

Aarav suddenly took off his tank top. "Well, you'll have to wait because I have to shower, too."

Before Ru could move, Aarav walked over to the bathtub and took off his jeans. Ru just stood there stunned and speechless, still staring at the mirror. The sound of the water running through the hose pulled Ru out of his daze, and he ran out of the restroom, straight towards his room, and slammed the door close. He felt like losing all sense of control. He could barely get his leather pants off of him before he jumped to the bed and began to jerk himself off hard and fast.

The images of water dripping down Aarav's naked body filled his mind, his dark hair wet and clinging to his face, his manly chest all bare and foamed up. Ru remembered how full and stretched he felt with Aarav deep inside him, and it didn't take long for him to cum.

When he opened his eyes again, it was pretty late, around 1. Ru still had to take his shower and complete the rest of his nightly routines. He dragged himself out of bed and into the hallway. He noted the living room lights were on and went to check, only to find Aarav sitting at the dining table with a plate of the chicken biryani.

"I thought you had dinner," Ru almost laughed.

"It was shit," Aarav admitted casually. "I had to throw it away."

Ru drew back a chair at the table and sat there. "Well, good thing I brought you dinner, then." Aarav saw the smug way Ru raised a brow.

"I will buy you dinner sometime," Aarav said, spooning a little of the raita onto his biryani.

Ru rested his face on his hand. "Really? When?"

Aarav threw him an offhand look. "Don't be so greedy. We have the rest of our lives for that."

"Really?" Suddenly, Ru felt very warm, and Aarav shrugged casually.
