Pitch Black Shadow (ch.11)

The moment they arrived, men wearing black suits gathered. Greeting Mikaela and Harvey.

The two men in front approached the them and took their luggage.

"Good day, Master. Young mistress. Shall we?" The bodyguard asked with a hand gesture.

The siblings were treated with respect and care. Taking them in a black Limousine.

A few hours later...

*Steps out*

"Where are we going brother?" Mikaela asked looking at Harvey.

"You'll see." He replied with a smile.

The bodyguard walked towards them.

"M'lady, Master. Preparation is complete." He pointed at the sea.

A speedboat was waiting for them to arrive.

Harvey gave his thanks and asked his sister to go first.

"I'll follow you from behind." He added.

Mikaela nodded and proceeded to walk.

'I'm tired' -Mikaela 💭 thought.

The scorching sun made Mikaela tired, sweat started dripping down her cheeks.

Reaching the speedboat, Harvey assisted Mikaela offering his hand to prevent her from slipping.

"Careful." He said.

A few minutes later, an island can be seen in a distance.

'Oh it's mom and dad's Island!!' She thought, her excitement made her lean too close to the rear.

Her brother went immediately held her, to prevent her from falling.

Gazing at the blueish sea, Mikaela accidentally caught glimpse of something.

Because of her sharp eyesight, she saw a small black shadow at the southern part of the sea.

Her eyes widened. She patted her brother's chest and asked.

"B-brother, can you see that?" She pointed.

*Shudders*

Her body suddenly shivered.

"I can't see anything." He replied after staring at the part where she pointed.

"Look! It's MOVING!!" She suddenly shouted, the bodyguards with them was startled.

Harvey immediately took his binoculars from his bag and looked.

But nothing was seen.

"There's nothing in there little sis." He said while shooking his head.

"M'LADY! MASTER! WE'RE HERE!" The bodyguard shouted.

Harvey packed his binoculars and patted Mikaela's head.

"Lia, maybe your just tired.. Afterall, our trip was quite long." He added, looking at her with a sympathetic expression.

Mikaela didn't hear a word he said.

'What the hell was that?' -Mikaela 💭 thought. scratching her head with annoyance.

Even though she already left the boat, her thoughts continued to wander. Believing that what she saw was indeed real.

That very night, her dreams began to worsen.

Her chest suddenly felt tight. Trying to run away from the darkness that was trying to consume her. Her face began to sweat with a scared expression.

DREAM.

'HELP!' She shouted.

Her voice echoed around the pitch black room. Nobody could here her, only herself.

After that long dream she finally woke up.

'What I saw was definitely real.' She thought.

Wiping her sweat.
