Chapter 35: Carrying Sideways
Tong Gui had just changed into a light blue short skirt that accentuated her lithe physique, her slim waist barely a handful, her legs long and lean. She had just lightly made-up, her hair pinned up, revealing her smooth forehead and the elegant neck akin to a swan.
The light casting on her face made her beauty seem almost unreal.

She seemed so close, yet so far, standing in the warm light, as if he could touch her with just an outstretched hand.
