Aaliyah's Pov

'Yeheyy! mommy, come blow the candle for her!' Lyca said happily and I myself blew out my daughter's candle for her first birthday today.

We prepared a little party for the six of us including our two babies. Lessandra was the first to turn one year.

'let's eat now' said Nik while spooning food on his plate.

'let me carry Lian' Vince took baby Lian from me and put her on the baby chair.

'Eat first' he said and helped me sit down.

'Eat too.' I said smiling at him.

We happily talk about our children. Especially baby Lessandra who can speak quite a bit which is why Nik and Lyca are so happy. I can see the joy of their family. Sometimes I think that my best friend is very lucky because firstly she didn't grow up poor, secondly she found a man who loves her very much and there is no doubt about Nik's love for her. Then now, they are married before their first child even came out of this world..

I smiled. It's nice to see my best friend's smiles. She deserves it so much.

I turned to Vince. Sometimes I also wonder, what if he was the one I chose then? Will my life be different? Will I be okay? I might not be here now.

Vince is very smart. He is almost the standing father to Lian now. A thank you is not enough to express my gratitude for everything he has done for my daughter. I might not be where I'm sitting now if it wasn't for Vince.

But why is my heart like that, it can't do anything when it beats for one person only.

Besides my daughter, Vince is one of the reasons for me to get out from under. I've been drowned for the past year that I'm almost crushed and there's almost nothing left of me. it's my first time to fall in love so I couldn't help myself how to go up alone.

And Vince, he helped me. And I don't know how to thank him. All this time I know, his feelings for me has not changed.

I know, he's doing all this because of his feelings for me that I can't return to him.

If only I could teach my heart to love him..

'Why? Is there dirt on my face?' Vince asked me which brought me back to reality.

'A-ahh hehe nothing' I said and focused on my food'

Lyca gave me a strange look.

I stood up and went to the fridge to get cold water because juice was served on the table.

It turned out that Lyca had followed me.

'Shhhh! Don't make noise there,.. that's wrong no matter what you think!' I reprimanded her because of her teasing face.

'Yes, that's wrong,' she's teasing me. My best friend is like a child even though she has a child already.

'I was just thinking about something earlier' I suddenly became serious.

'What is that?' she asked. She leaned on the fridge and faced me while I was drinking water.

'I was thinking, maybe I can consider Vince's feelings for me' I said seriously after sipping a glass of water.

Her eyes widened and hee hands covered her mouth.

'Really?' she asked incredulously.

'Uhmm' I said to her while nodding.

'Omg.'-lyca

'Why? Is there something wrong?! Vince is kind and another---' I couldn't finish what I was going to say because Lyca cut me off when Nik suddenly came.

'Babe!? Why?! do you need something? Let's go to the table' she said exaggeratedly while pulling away her husband.

I just shook my head at them.

I knocked on Vince's door a few times before he opened it.

His face was shocked when I entered his room.

'Ali? Why? Did something happen?' He asked and the surprise on his face was obvious.

I approached him and adjusted his necktie.

He almost swallowed while I was doing it, and it wasn't enough he even step backwards.

I smiled at him.

'I'll be out later, I cooked you breakfast. Eat before you go to work' I said to him as I left his room.

I know he's wondering but I just want to make up for what he did for my daughter and me.

Now I can say that I am quite okay and I have accepted everything that Daniel did to me, but the pain still hasn't gone away.

I especially love him.

Even though it's been a long time, my heart still beats for him. He's still the one I'm looking for..

Every day I'm groping for him maybe I'm missing oh my love for him is diminishing, But in twinkling I can think of him...

'Wow, did you cooked?' Vince asked. He was already behind the dinning table.

'Yes hehe, don't worry, I know how to cook. Nik taught me while you were at work' I smiled at him..

He smiled at me.

'Nice, is it salty?'

'No more' I said and sat down next to him.

'Vince?' I called him while he was eating.

'Uhmm??'-vince

'A-ah hehe Later. I'll tell you later,' I said because Nik and Lyca suddenly arrived.

'Wow, you cooked for vince?!. Do you have a fever, best friend?' luyca asked while Nik suddenly became serious and his mood was a bit bad.

' Bro Let's talk' he said to Vince.

Lyca and I were wondering why he behaved like that. I rarely see him like that.

Vince's face, which was a little happy earlier, was also changed to a serious one and immediately followed Nik.

Lyca and I looked at each other.

'Did they fight? What's up?' I asked her but she just shrugged and sat down at the table.

Nik Pov

'Bro? What are you doing?!' I shouted at him when he came to the rooftop. Here we are talking about things that Aaliyah cannot hear.

'What are you doing?' He answered.

'Bro you know what I mean. Why does she treat you like that? Did you do something to make her like that?! You know you can't bro!' I shouted at him and grabbed him by his collar.

But he only gave me a serious look, and violently removed my hand that was holding his collar.

'Is that how you think of me? I like Aaliyah but I won't take her in a dirty way. If she becomes mine, I want her heart to be mine. If you don't trust me, I can't do anything about it' he said and then left in front of me.

Suddenly I felt guilty for what I did to him.

I suddenly sent my anger.

I was just thinking about Daniel. I feel sorry for his situation. He sacrificed just for the safety of his family. He became a victim of Trixie's madness towards him and because of that his own family was destroyed.

He needs to be far away from Ali and even though he knows they will have children, he endures not being with them because it is more important for him that Aaliyah and his daughter are safe.

He fights there alone and he's with the woman he hates.

I am proud of my friend. He is very brave and there is no one as strong as him.

I thought that if that happened to me, I would probably choose that decision because I would be selfish. Maybe I want to be with my love ones even though I know they are not safe every day. Maybe I've gone crazy.

'Babe you're just there! What is your problem? Did you fight?' I was surprised that my wife was behind me.

Because of the situation I thought earlier, I sped up my pace and immediately hugged her.

I hope that doesn't happen to us.

Someone's POV

'Ali? What are you going to say?' Vince asked Aaliyah when he entered her room. He thought about knocking on Aaliyah's room earlier when he suddenly remembered that she had something to say to him.

He felt that he wanted to hear what she had to say.

'A-ahh --because , a--ahh I was going to ask you if you still like me until now' asked Aaliyah. His expression was shocked at this time and he was looking her face to see if she was serious about her question.

'Ah--' he was about to answered her question when suddenly his cell phone rang.

He was surprised by the caller and when he realized that Aaliyah was in front of him, he suddenly became worried and quickly hid the screen of his cellphone from Aaliyah.

'I'm sorry Ali, I have to answer this, it's important' he said with a smile and hurriedly walked away and then answered the call.

Vince quickly traveled to the Philippines after he and Daniel talked yesterday on the cellphone.

Nik knows about Vince's departure but this is the only one who needs to go to the Philippines because Aaliyah might notice when they both disappear.

What they informed Aaliyah was that there was a problem with their company in the Philippines so he had to go home immediately.

They were even surprised when he suddenly got dressed that same afternoon and left his room with a suitcase. Nik just helped him explain to Aaliyah because they were surprised by his sudden decision. ,'

His uncle Alejandro greeted him.

Trixie who had almost reached the living room and saw his presence was shocked and her eyes widened.

'Why are you here?!' Trixie yelled at him. Alejandro was surprised by his daughter-in-law's behavior so he looked at her.

'What do you need?! What are you doing here?!!' She shouted and looked angrily at Vince.

'Trixie, what is your problem?!' Alejandro intervened because she was yelling at his nephew.

'Uncle, it's okay. Where's Daniel? I need to talk to him' he said to his uncle Alejandro.

'Maybe he's in his room' Alejandro answered him confused.

He was about to walk to Daniel's room when Trixie stopped him.

'Stop! Get out of here! Don't mess up! Get out!' she yelled at him while still blocking her path.

'What is happening to you Trixie?!' Alejandro's voice is angry.

Amelia's face can't be painted either.

', Just send him away! He will mess up my family! I will not let him talk to my husband!!' Trixie answered Daniel's father.

It is confused by what is happening.

'What is going on here?! Can you explain Vince?' Alejandro asked his nephew to get a sensible answer.

'Dad, I'll explain' they all turned to Daniel who spoke.

'Son'-amelia

'Love!' Trixie immediately approached Daniel.

'Love! He's what I'm telling you! Your cousin that you don't like! You have to get him out of here now! He will mess with your mind!. Right aunt Amelia?!' Trixie shouted and looked for an ally. But Amelia could no longer look at her directly. Even Amelia was surprised by her behavior now.

Daniel violently removed Trixie's hand that was holding his arm.

'My memory came back. So stop your fucking lies or I will fucking kill you right now' Daniel emphasized every word. His face was serious and angry.

Trixie's eyes widened. It retreated away from Daniel. Her whole face almost lost color and her knees were also shaking.

Amelia was shocked. While Alejandro looked at them seriously. While Vince was looking at Trixie badly.

'No.. it's not happening..' trixie whispered softly.

'Mom, this woman, is the one who killed my son.' Daniel starts.

Everyone's expression was surprised, and almost all of their attention was on Trixie. Even Amelia couldn't believe what she heard.

They all turned to Adriane who was going to their place and was carrying a laptop with a USB plugged in.

'The one you let into our home, and your precious daughter in law , is the one who KILLED LIAM MY SON!!! YOUR OWN GRANDSON!!!!!!' Daniel shouted loudly and he could no longer hold back his emotions that he had hidden for a long time. He approached Adriane and took the gun that was always on his back and then pointed it at Trixie's head.

'I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!!!' she screamed in shock and Trixie's head almost shook at the shock of Daniel pointing the gun at her.

She was crying and almost pale with fear.

'Son!!!! Don't!!' Amelia screamed in fear as she cried.

'Daniel! Calm down!!!!'- Vince

'Sir, don't do this' -adriane

'Son!!' Alejandro screamed and immediately grabbed his son along with Adriane and Vince who quickly separated him from what could happen.

Daniel cried in anger as he almost killed Trixie with his gaze. that Adriane opened the laptop and started watching the videos for them.

The first was the cctv footages that disappeared in Palawan where their son Liam died. You can see how Trixie came out of the cctv room to took some of the shots that can be used in the investigation of the case of Liam's death. There are some other shots where she contacted the owner of the resort herself to carry out the dirty plan.

They found and caught the person she ordered to kill liam. Even some of its staff tried to take the life of the woman he loved, Aaliyah, but they failed because Adriane was carefully watching over Aaliyah when she was still here in the Philippines.

There is also a cctv footage where all of Trixie's plans at the wedding reception, starting with putting something in Daniel's wine, even bringing Daniel unconscious to the room. They found out that Trixie made a fake cctv footage to show Daniel something and make him believe her lies.

' Trixie's personal body guard admitted, nothing happened to them that night. After you kissed, you suddenly fell asleep because of how hard the drink you drank' Adriane explained while the video was playing.

Everyone looked at Trixie.

Daniel seemed to be breathing a sigh of relief.

All of Trixie's people who were involved in these plans have been also caught.

Even some of the sex between Trixie and her personal body guard was secretly filmed by them. Adriane hands Alejandro a document that shows that he is not the father of Trixie's child but her personal body guard.

Even his regular visits to the psychiatrist and brain treatment were presented by Adriane right in front of all of them.

Alejandro became silent in anger and was about to take Adriane's gun when Vince stopped him.

Amelia who was incessantly shedding tears slowly approached Trixie and without a word she slapped her with the right hand.

Her face almost flew away with so much force.

'You killer! I despise you. I regret forcing you to my son, while you were sleeping with someone else, you let my son have your dirty child! How dare you deceive me like that! You whore!!!!! I never thought you would go this far to get Daniel!!!!! You're crazy!!!!' Amelia shouted at her angrily.

'Get that fucking child out of here right now!!!!!!' Amelia yelled at some helpers who were looking after them. They acted immediately.

'Don't! Don't! My child! DON'T!!! Don't!!!! My child! My child!!! Nelson!!! Where are you?!! Nelson!!!!' Trixie screamed like crazy and was about to leave to stop the helpers from taking her child but she was quickly grabbed by the body guards who are currently at the mansion.

'They are all in the precinct with Nelson the personal body guard of her. The police are already there outside and are just waiting for our signal' Vince said to them.

Trixie looks almost crazy.

'Please get this crazy woman out of my house. Also call her family now. Don't make it public. Avoid the media. Make this as confidential.,' Alejandro ordered authoritatively. He is very angry, also Amelia. There is no place for the anger in their hearts right now because of the woman they allowed to live in their mansion and made the life of their only child miserable.

'Remember this, everything that happened to your son is your fault. I don't want to see your face! Get out of my house!' Alejandro said angrily to amelia and quickly left in front of them.

Amelia sat down while wailing and crying. Alejandro's kicking her out is not up to her. What she can't accept is her trust in Trixie and the conscience that she sided with the one who killed his grandson and almost destroyed his own son's life because of him.

A little while later, the police came in to take Trixie.

.'auntie Amelia! Help! Aunt Amelia! Aunt AMELIA!!!' Trixie shouted but no one paid attention to her.

Vince accompanied Daniel to his room to calm him down and Adriane took care of the police.

'Bro, it's over' said vince to Daniel.

He just nodded to him with tears in his eyes. In his mind, it was as if a thorn was suddenly pulled out of his throat and he breathed a sigh of relief.
