Aaliyah's Pov

It's been a week now since Daniel left on his business trip. I've been worried about him for a while.

I called him on video call yesterday, but he didn't answer because he said he was too busy.

Maybe it's because he has a problem that's why I'm worried about him. It was just when they had a problem with the company that I thought maybe they have another problem at the office that needs to be solved and they need to go out of the town.

'Ma'am, sir Vince came by earlier, but he also left. He left something for you' said one of my staff when I arrived at the shop. I left for a while because I had to buy something at the mall.

'Ah ma'am it's embarrassing' he said shyly while scratching his head but he didn't do anything when I pulled him to the table.

'Sometimes you should chill too. Just wait,' I told him and went back to the counter. He only responded with a smile and a nod.

'Alright, you bring his coffee and cake' I said with a smile so she was happy and hurriedly prepared Adriane's food. I'm shaking my head with a smile, I picked up my cellphone.

'Okay bye' I said and ended the call. I looked for lyca's name in my contacts to call her when I suddenly received incoming calls.

It's my mom.

'Son, we can't go back there for now, huh. Your uncle Ronald liked it here a bit so we might not be able to go back right away. Lyca is there and I know that your husband will not leave you there.' Mom said. Uncle Ronald is her boyfriend.

'Alright. But at your wedding, we will going home immediately. It's grandma, how do I say hello to her? Be careful there' I replied to mom.

'Alright son. You too be careful there.' He said and then ended the call.

Someone's POV

Aaliyah came home excited at night. She didn't hear what Lyca was saying because he went straight to their room to see Daniel who he hadn't seen in over a week.

When he opened the door of their room, Daniel had just come out of their bathroom and had just taken a shower while still wiping his wet hair and wearing a bathrobe.

He happily ran up to him and hugged him. Daniel did the same. He hugged her back tightly and kissed her forehead. She already misses her future husband. When their bodies were separated, she wanted to claim his lips but when he suddenly remembered something, he restrained himself and just kissed her on the forehead and hugged her again.

He couldn't kiss his girlfriend because of the guilt he couldn't remember. He only knows one thing. He will restrain himself first and will not claim it until he can prove that nothing happened to him and Trixie. He has too much respect for her, that's why because of what happened, he will be patient first so as not to get carried away by emotions and be attracted to his soon to be wife. He doesn't know but that's what he feels now, If something happened with them with Trixie, he doesn't want to have sex with his fiance at the meantime, he knows Aaliyah doesn't deserve that. He thought several times about what he should do, tell the truth to Aaliyah and wait for her decision, but he was afraid.

Fear dominates him because he can't bear it if he loses Aaliyah.

After they ate dinner, they immediately went up to their room.

His memory came back to him when he's kissing Trixie that night and he thought it was Aaliyah, and the possibility that something had happened between them and Trixie, he would not be able to forgive himself.

Aaliyah was suddenly surprised by his behavior. He knew that there was something strange about Daniel. She almost noticed that he didn't even kiss her back. She knows him very well and with simple things like this with her fiance, by this time they are probably doing something, but she wonders what the problem of her fiance.

'Why?' Daniel asked what he did.

Meanwhile, Aaliyah was about to return to Daniel's room after getting the massager in her grandmother's room when she heard something like a noise coming from downstairs.
