CHAPTER TWELVE : YOUNG MADAM IS SCARED

As he immediately held her hands in a tight grip, stopping her from touching him .

His eyes widened , looking at the Sophie , and her immense courage as he looked at her with those sharp heated eyes of fire , as if they could shoot blazers, out .

Treyond stood in the corner as his eyes and mouth widened at his young lady action , and he had to give it to her she indeed had guts , and was successful in angering the young master .

"What do you think you are doing " , Shane's gruff voice came , as the anger with which he uttered the words could be clearly heard , as Sophie inwardly shivered in fear , somewhat regretting her actions , but she can not disgrace herself by letting her loose in fear to him ,

"I am greeting you honey , or is there anything wrong with it , after all I am your 'wife' , ain't I " , she said making sure to lay emphasis on the word 'wife' , as Shane's hold on her hand tightened and she recalled in pain, but still looked directly into those gorgeous eyes that seemed to take her into another world anytime she stares at them .

His lips tugged upward , as his smirk broadened ,

"indeed you are " , he said as Sophie felt goosebumps on her body for the way he smirked and said the words and she did not have a good d feeling about it .

He let go of her hands , as he nodded to a man , as Sophie took in the environment noticing other presence in the room and her face flushed from the fact that they just witnessed her bold encounter with Shane.

Sophie took in the man who stepped forward as Shane had directed him , and she immediately recognized him as the lawyer who brought her the marriage contract papers , what is he doing here , she wondered.

"what is this " , Sophie asked looking at Shane and the file which his lawyer just give her ,

"that contains the rules for the marriage , and they are to be followed accordingly " , Shane said as he stood at the corner .

Rules to be followed (MARRIAGE CONTRACT)

Valid for one (1) year

Involving two parties only

First Party - SHANE COLLEN

Second Party - SOPHIE ADAM'S

1, The Second party , should not under any circumstances be seen or involved in any external relationship out side of the marriage .

2 , The second party should always be ready to go on public events with the first party if needed .

3 , The second party should never under any condition disrespect the senior master .

4 , The second party should always be ready to put up a front of being

in a happy relationship with the first party .

Within one year , this contract will be deemed as invalid , any the first party can choose to prolong the contract if he wishes to continue in the marriage .

The rules can be amended as per both parties wishes , any any difiance to the rules will be paid.

"What the hell is this" , Sophie asked as he green eyes turned vibrant and shown in anger as they seemed to breath flames of fire , and for the first time Shane was amused by her anger , and had the urge to test her limit , the colour of her eyes when she is angry seemed to give a different shade to her skin , as it seemed to glow like a goddess performing magic ,

"those are the rules to be followed" , he said with a straight face , keeping his real emotions hidden like he always does ,

"What sort of rules are these , this is so absurd, and one sided" , she said , stammering through her words in anger ,

"You can choose to add more changes to the contract , or the rules you have for me , you will have to speak to my lawyer , and then I will deem it plausible before it will be added " Shane said as he nodded to his lawyer who directed Sophie on where to sign , as she looked at Shane in anger ,

"and what if I don't sign it " , she said raising her head up in difiance ,

"You owe me your life and that of your sister " , Shane said to her , as her eyes widened when he mentioned her sister ,

"How do you ..." , Sophie said as she stammered through her words but could not complete her words as Shane interrupted her , saying something that shocked her to the core .

"Stacy Adam's, the hidden and illegitimate daughter of Robert Adam's , are you shocked , Robert Adam's secret is not so secretive anymore " , Shane said as hatred and disgust showed in his voice , and he let out a comical laugh that seemed more like a mocking laugh filled with anger and untold promises , and your the first time , Sophie was actually scared of him , as she took a step back unconsciously , and he stopped laughing , and looked at her , gauging her expression , seeing fear in her eyes as his lips quirked up ,

"Are you scared " , he asked her in a low voice as his eyes glinted with ab unreadable emotion , Sophie stood up straight looking straight in his eyes , seeing that same dullness that was replaced by disgust in his eyes a while ago had returned ,

"No " , she answered ....
