Fu Chenshang woke up in the morning to see Song Anjiu fast asleep on the coffee table, cushioned by test papers.
He pulled out the test papers and her homework book, glanced over them, and although the correct rate was still miserably low, she had at least put in effort. Satisfied, he nodded, "Well, she has been obedient."
Just as he was about to carry her to bed, Song Anjiu jolted awake, her eyes ringed with dark circles as she frantically flipped through a dictionary, "I'll do it right now! Just a few questions left!"
"Barely passable, go to sleep! There's no class in the morning, you can sleep in a bit."
One word of passing almost brought Song Anjiu to tears of excitement.
Before she could finish being moved, she heard Fu Chenshang say, "Your basics are too weak, just making up classes in school isn't enough. I will get you a tutor who will come to teach you the curriculum from freshman and sophomore years in the evening."
