The First Rebirth

The eye of Typhoon Mors, Middle of the Pacific, Laputa

As we traveled along taking in the scenery of the ancient city. I asked:

"Asia, my friend. Have you ever thought of staying here with us in our home forever?"

Looking back at me in excitement, she asked;

"Really, can I?"

Making eye contact, I smiled back.

"Of course, there is only one trivial thing required for you to stay though."

Looking back with eyes full of resolve, she asked;

"What do I need to do?"

Reaching out, I stroked the fluffy mammal in her arms.

"You would need to join our ranks and ascend."

Her eyes widened like saucers.

"Really, I can be a part of the heavenly ranks?"

"Of course my dear. It's just; remember as you know our heavenly ranks are focused on knowledge and might. Once you ascend and live forever with the rest of us, you will devote yourself to obtaining knowledge and bring the wrath of god on our enemies. Can you commit to this?"

Looking at the ground in introspection, she nodded.

"Alright, just set down the critter. And we can start the process."

She gently placed the critter down. Walking closer to me with an excited, determined, expression she waited for further instruction;

I gently caressed the top of her head with my hand. "Now just close your eyes and I shall take care of the rest."

Nodding, she obediently closed her eyes.

I moved my hand to cup her chin; and gently lifted her head, so I could give her a kiss on the lips to activate the rebirth process of my progenitor skill.

As I started the kiss, she gave a surprised yelp, that was muted out by our lips interlocking together. As this was happening, I focused on using the same energy I used while creating my sisters.

The same motes of multicolored light that appear when creating my sisters appeared, and softly covered Asia until she was fully covered; all the while the kiss continued. A flash of dark purple light, replaced the multicolored lights, and I pulled away from the kiss.

Opening her eyes, Asia blushed heavily.

The most striking thing the rebirth had done was her eyes. They were still emerald green but now had a glowing golden cross in the center. Her ears were changed to our colorful tufts, her hair was still blonde and she was sporting a high spec, intricate emerald colored halo.

Her outfit was the same but her wings had ripped open at the sides.

"How is it?

"Huh? Realizing what had happened. She examined herself and gawked with a huge smile as her eyes rested on her wings."

Rushing over after this realization, she gave me a hug around my waist. As she did so, she started blushing all over, further reddening her face.

"Thank you for choosing me lord!"

Enjoying the hug I smiled. A sinister glint briefly passing through my eyes. I patted her head, as she continued the hug.

"No, thank you Asia."
