SEARCH FOR THE PHOENIX

The sound of the lightning bolt as it struck the beast reverberated through the air and the ground shook after it fell,silence filled the air,they could hear their heart beating fast as they were unsure if they actually defeated the beast,as the dust cleared and the lightning disperse they could see a large hole at the head of the beast ,a smile formed on Kiara's lips as she turned and said "You did it Zeus".

"Woah,yeah,take that you piece of sh*t",Trey shouted and the others joined jumping and shouting as they actually defeated the beast.Two rivals turned friends in that instance and started hugging and holding each other as they jumped and shouted for joy , Jayden looked towards Kiara and smiled,then he patted her head and he "No,i didn't do anything,you did it,you know now would be a good time to show your brother who you are".

"Nah,not now,I want him to take a guess , I'm sure he's probably going to approach me to join his team".The moment Kiara said that his face scrunched up and he asked"Are you going to join his team and don't forget we made a deal ".

"I didn't forget about our deal,I always keep my words ",Kiara reassured him,the answer still didn't satisfy him.

"Hey,blondie ",Max called out to Kiara

"You know she has a name", Jayden retorted obviously angry at the way Max was talking to her.

"You never introduced her,so how am I suppose to know her name",He replied.Kiara was staring at the both of them bickering,she couldn't hold back the laughter anymore so she laughed out bringing the attention of the others to her,she was laughing so hard tears were coming out of her eyes then she said in-between her laughter "ah.....ah....you guys....ah..look so cute ...right now..ah ...".When she saw that they were all looking at her she comported herself,the others couldn't help but smile.

"Well...I guess it's time to go back home",Juvia said.

"yeah".

"Man I'm wasted".

"I need a warm bath".

The others couldn't agree more, getting into the portal that will take them home.

MARS

The throne room was as bright as the sun,the walls sparkling because of the orbs in it,the floor made with melted gold,on the walls were pictures of past Martian emperors ,the celling made with rubies to give the room a bright red hue ,the throne itself was made with gold ,a throne befitting an emperor.The chief commander of the Martians force kneeled before the emperor giving his report never daring to look at the emperor fearing for his life.

The Martian emperor known as emperor Khan Rak Jones was a tyrant ,killed his father and brothers to take the throne,going from planet to planet conquering all,he shows no mercy,his subjects have come to fear him cause he kills without mercy;its natural instincts to fear those who have more power than you but emperor Khan Rak Jones fears no one,not even the so called fire lizard as he calls fireheart,and not even the gods.Emperor Khan looked down at the green scaled man who was giving him the report about the last war ,this man is afraid of him NO this is terror,he could literally smell the terror emitting from him and he smiled,he enjoys this;this power he has over his subject.

"Have you tracked down the whereabouts of the Phoenix",his deep baritone voice asked the man .

"We are still searching for her my liege",the green scaled man known as Leroy Angis replied.

"Still searching?", emperor Khan looked at Leroy with contempt as he asked

"my..m..my..lie...liege...we..d..do.. don't exactly have ...any information about her whereabouts not even the priestess we captured", Leroy stuttered praying and begging the gods not to let him die by the hands of his emperor.

"hmmm"emperor Khan said contemplating on what he just heard"you have one week to bring her to me and bring her to me unharmed, do you understand",he said with a sinister smile.

"yes....yes..my liege",Leroy hurriedly replied.Emperor Khan raised his hand dismissing him,after Leroy left, he started reminiscing on what happened ten thousand years ago;this is something that isn't known to many but emperor Khan has lived for more than ten thousand years,his Ministers believe him to be immortal but none of them were closed to the truth. He closed his eyes as the memories of the past flashed through his head"Sujini ,my love , I've missed you",he said quietly as he rubbed the ring on his middle finger.

Zypher

"Patek ,when is the conference meeting for the planets",Mon El asked

"In five grey moon;you know I don't understand why you're here ,your one thousand equinox is tomorrow shouldn't you be looking for ways to find your mate", Patek asked,as he stared at his friend.

"Father already handled that,mother and Nero are preparing the banquet,what else do you want me to do?",he replied

"But...

"And besides if she's really my mate a connection will form once the grey moon completely align with the Phoenix and Fireheart stars",he cut him short.Patek having nothing to say just sighed and gave up trying to convince his friend to search for his mate,his friend is hopeless, hopefully once his mate appears he will realize his shortcomings.

The place was buzzlingly with the maids preparing for the crown prince's equinox,not just the palace though the entire Zypher was buzzlingly with maidens getting the most prettiest dress ,while some were dragging and fighting over a pair of shoes or a couple of dresses or jewelry, everyone was happy,or feeling nervous or anxious only one person stood at the window and staring outside not at the people but at the sky , Mon El was trying to feel his mate but nothing was coming,the fuzzy feeling he felt the other day was gone,he was trying to grasp at anything, he wanted to feel that fuzzy feeling again but it was hopeless that feeling was gone.
