"What the hell are you doing here?" Kei's voice came low and threatening.
'Ouch.' There it was again. 'Why is he so angry?' He threw the towel he had on his head until it hit the wall. If it were a glass it would have shattered into millions of pieces. I found my body sitting on Kei's bed watching his dangerous eyes. They were fuming. In three strides, my livid boyfriend was towering over me. He snatches my right wrist and pulls me to my feet.
"What the hell are you thinking?" His grip on my wrist nearly broke it. I winced in pain.
"Let go!" I snatched my hand from him. I was getting angry myself. After all I went through to be here looking like this and offering myself with no pride. That was what I got. Rejection. I felt my heart cut into many pieces. "I guess you prefer to screw your ex. Well let me make it easier for you. Why don't you go back to her?" I was seeing everything red. I pushed him untill he fell on the other bed and walked to the door. I barely put my hand on the knob when Kei slammed his hand on the door making the whole wall shake.
"Are you trying to drive me crazy? You think you're going out like that?" Kei roared.
I stood there for a moment. I was so mad I didn't think about my attire at all. At that point, I didn't give a damn if I was going to walk out half naked. I was really enraged at his attitude. I span my head violently making my hair fly. I shot darts at my angry boyfriend.
"Maybe if I go out like this, other people will appreciate the effort I had put into this." I said as I waved my hand up and down referring to my body.
"What did you just say?" Kei's voice came low and menacing but I didn't waver.
"You heard me. I really don't understand you Kei. Only a few weeks ago, you were ready to jump me with your dad in the house-"
"And what did you do? You rejected me." An emotion traversed his eyes which were getting darker by the second.
"So is this payback time for me?" He didn't answer. He just closed his eyes and pushed his hand through his wet hair. "You didn't have a problem sleeping with Minako though, right?" That got his attention back to me again. His eyes held mine and I felt a ball forming in my throat. I felt jealousy eating me from the inside. Hot streams were racing down my face so I broke our staring contest. I was walking back towards the bed to get my yokata, when two hands yanked me back and slammed me into the wall which knocked the wind out of me.
"What the-"
My words were drowned by Kei's lips bruising mine. There was such a force, such a roughness to the kiss that I could barely stand. His tongue slid inside my mouth smoothly claiming it. My heart was pounding so loud and so fast.
"You're driving me crazy." Kei's hoarse voice whispered on my lips. My heart skipped a beat. He reclaimed my lips and I put my hands through his damped hair pulling him even closer to me. His hands moved down to my shoulders than to my waist crushing my body against his.
"There is no going back now." His sexy voice came again as he started kissing my neck. A moan escaped my mouth.
Kei's hand traveled to my bare butt squeezing it and causing me to moan again. His mouth was instantly on mine. His left hand resumed moving again, caressing my thigh and lifting my leg to his hip. I gasped as I felt his erection through the towel. It made him smile. Suddenly, Kei picked me up. I squealed and tightened my grip around his neck. He walked to the bed and put me gently on it. He stood there for a moment while his eyes drank my body up.
"Is this what you really want Samantha?" He asked me with his husky voice. I couldn't utter a word. Maybe it was embarrassment, or maybe it was the desire that spread to every inch of my body, but all I did was nod.
Kei switched off the lights and we were left with nothing but the street lights that created magical shadows in the room. The bed shifted when Kei lied next to me. His fingers unhooked my bra throwing it to the floor. I was so glad to be in the dark because I was sure my face was as red as a tomato. Kei softly kissed my breasts and I arched my back at the contact.
"Do you know... how much strength... it took me... last night... not to take you.... right there on the stairs?" He whispered between kisses. His words made me smile. His kisses left a hot trail on my body as he wandered down to my stomach and my thighs. I felt something clench in my lower abdomen. Kei removed my lace thong and sat on his knees. I could see his intense pools of emerald eyeing me.
"Are you sure about this?"
"Yes." I whispered.
My whole world changed in the next second when my one and only love became one with me. His gentle touch brought me to new levels of desire and satisfaction. I wanted the moment to last forever. After we both found our release calling each other's names, Kei's body lied on top of me letting me feel his full weight. He kissed my neck.
"I love you, Sam."
"I love you too, Kei."
He shifted his body to the side and pulled the sheets over both our bodies. He enveloped me in his big arms and I fell asleep. The sweetest sleep I had ever experienced.
'Sam.'
"Sam." Kei's sweet whisper woke me up. "I think you should go back to your room. I don't want you to get in trouble." He said as he kissed my forehead.
I forced my tired body to get up. I wore my yokata deeming it unnecessary to put my undergarments on. When I turned to Kei, I saw him standing by the door wearing a green T-shirt and gray sweatpants. He slowly opened the door and we snuck through the stairs again until my room. He gave me a passionate kiss sending my memory back to just a couple of hours earlier.
"Goodnight babe." He said letting go of me.
"Goodnight." I responded with a smile.
When I entered my room, Yoko was not there. But again, it was only ten thirty. I decided to take a shower and lie in bed to wait for my roommate. But as soon as my head touched the pillow, I was a goner.
Sunday morning was a bliss. I woke up to the sun rays that escaped through the curtains. Yoko was still asleep in the bed next to me. I stretched feeling a delicious soreness throughout my body. I beamed. The night before was like a dream. I got up from bed and started to quietly pack my stuff. The schedule had said that we would leave after breakfast.
"Well someone is all energized this morning." Yoko's voice broke the silence and startled me.
"Oh my God, you scared me."
"Sorry." She pretended to mean it. "So, anything you want to share with your best friend." I felt my cheeks heat up.
"All I have to say is that last night was amazing." I told her after a brief silence.
"I knew it!" Yoko jumped on her bed. "I knew he wouldn't be able to resist." I spared her the details of the fight we had before but she didn't have to know the details.
We both finished packing our bags and went up for breakfast. I was sitting with Yoko when my eyes landed on Kei. My heart skipped a beat when our gazes met. He gave me a dazzling smile and winked at me.
On the train back, we held hands the whole time. It was just easier to touch Kei. I felt like our bodies belonged to each other.
Our bliss had continued for the following two weeks. We just couldn't get enough of each other. We fooled around when no one was home and we went on little dates almost every day. But as they say, everything has an end.
It was Saturday afternoon, Kei and I had just gotten back home from shopping. We entered the living room where Jiro was sitting. He had an annoyed look on his face.
"What's up brother?" Kei said playfully.
"No!" We heard Amanda scream from the second floor. Both Kei and I looked back to Jiro.
"What's going on?" Kei asked with an alarmed voice.
"Dad is back." Jiro answered quietly.
"And?"
"And, they've been fighting ever since."
"About what?"
"Well, from what I could gather, there is a family meeting at grandpa's house tomorrow."
"Shit." Kei cursed as he crashed on the couch next to Jiro.
I didn't understand why it was a big deal to visit their grandpa's house but I didn't have the courage to ask. They both had such an intense look on their faces. The screaming upstairs continued for a good hour. We tried to watch some television, but it was more of a background noise. It was strange to see Mr and Mrs Ichihara fight. It reminded me of when they were going to move to Japan a few years back. Amanda showed up in the living room a little later. Her eyes were red and puffy.
"Oh, hi kids." She said trying to control her voice. "What do you want to have for dinner?"
"We were thinking of going out, mom. You don't have to make anything." Amanda stared at Kei and a sole tear escaped her left eye. She nodded.
"Don't be late though, kids." She said as she walked back to the stairs and ascended them.
"I guess it's your treat, Kei." Jiro said with a smirk on his face.
"Jerk." Was all what Kei said before we all left the house.
We decided to go to a family restaurant, Saizeriya. We sat at a booth and started studying the menu when suddenly my eyes caught a familiar blue bracelet on Jiro's wrist. I was a little confused at first but then everything made sense like puzzle pieces falling into place. The boy Yoko liked was Jiro.
"Hi guys." A soft voice came. I turned around and found none other than Yoko standing by our table.
"Yoko, what are you doing here?" I asked surprised.
"I called her." Jiro interrupted. "I hate being the third wheel with you guys, besides Yoko and I are dating now." He took Yoko's hand and pulled her next to him on the booth. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. And why was that the first time I heard about it?
"Congrats! Hope you can handle his mood swings." Kei joked.
"I think you're the one with the mood swings brother."
Yoko and I didn't exchange a word. We didn't even look at each other. It was pretty awkward. I told myself that I would give her time. I wanted to hear the story from her so I wasn't going to push her in front of Kei and Jiro, especially with how fidget she was. She was abnormally silent and her eyes held an emotion, I could swear it was sadness.
After dinner, we went back home. The lights were out and everything was quiet. It felt like the calm before the storm. And it was.
