The hot sun was shining down its light and warm to the world. The heat coming from the sun brought lives to the living things in every part of the world. It seemed that the sun was pretty hot today, and the people in a certain part of a city looked pretty tense, that could easily be told from a single glance because of how intense the situation looked right now. Or was it just an assumption from looking at a man and the people around him that were pretty drenched in sweat? Especially the people in front of him, the people who faced him head on.

Still, even though he was drenching in sweat, he did not look bothered by it. He did not seem weak nor even tired, seemingly just a normal occurrence when a body needed water from the body to cool the body down. His face was plastered with a grin, as if he had succeeded in achieving his goal. A satisfied smile that made the people in front of them surprised and anxious at the same time.

How could they not, when the reason the man was happy was because he held their young master as a hostage. A sword was placed on the area around his neck, making the young master gulp down the saliva inside of his mouth subconsciously. Imagining the pain that could come from the slash, he shuddered. A single slash and tomorrow is no more for him.

Not only for him, even for those who acted as his mobs might not even have a bright future in front of them! The furious head family would then exact punishments to them and not only them, but their relatives might also get the implications. How could they just let the man in front of them do that and get punished for the things that they had not done?

That was what was in their minds, not even realizing that if they had not acted against Enjar and just minded their own businesses, all of this might be avoided. But if they heard this sentence just now, they might be answering 'What do you understand you thwack, this is our job!'. And the debate would not be over for sometime soon, then.

"Let go off young master!" Said the man who had dropped his sword before. He looked to be in his 40s. He looked quite thin with a pointy mustache on his face. He was truly shocked. He got caught off guard from how the man had acted. He was actually pretty skilled too in the way of sword in his level. It was just that the smiling man somehow was able to jump far ahead of his calculation. It was as if he got thrown through a catapult. What kind of notion was that?

'Is he one of the people who had that kind of power?' said the mustachioed man. He gritted his teeth in desperation. The plan was pretty much broken now. He did not know what to do now, his only priority was to save the life of his young master. Or else, the punishment would fall on him.

"Why should I let him go? It was you guys who had attacked me first, and all of the people around me can testify to it. Are you trying to play the victim here?" Enjar smirked when he heard what he was saying. He looked around him and saw that there were many people watching this drama unfold before them. Naturally, deep inside their hearts they were excited seeing this conflict unfolded before their eyes. It was like watching a show and they got entertained by watching it.

But when he said that they could testify, some backed away from the crowd. Those who backed out felt like it was not worth it to offend some people that they could not afford to offend. They did not have the guts to stand up to the victim even though the victim was in the right. Who dared to do that, if the price for doing that was to give up even your lives?

The mustachioed man tried to take a step, and the price was that Enjar cut the neck of the hostage. Fortunately or maybe unfortunately, it was just a scratch. Still, it brought pain to Kail and blood started to flow from the wound.

The mustachioed man started to have some cold sweats appear on his temples and skins. This man was truly vicious! He did not dare to make any rash actions and reckless behavior, which would infuriate the man in front of him. So he could only step back and compromise with a furious glare.

"Enjar, don't go too far! Do you really want to make a blood feud with the Gril family?" The man with the mustache glared at Enjar with anxiousness. He could only negotiate with him now. Wrong mistake and then there was no turning back.

"Don't go too far? Are you dumb or what? Who is the one that tried to mess with me? You even brought tens of people to harm me. Is this how the Gril family always acted? Trying to shift the blame to the victim?" Enjar said it out loud. He intentionally said it in a loud voice so that the onlookers could hear him. What was the intention? It was to plant a seed in their hearts, to make them realize that the upper class had the power to do whatever they want.

Naturally deep inside their hearts they knew it. But Enjar wanted to show them that he could stand against them and he dared to do so. One could wonder why he wanted to do that and for what purpose he acted as an example like this.

Enjar did not care about the so-called Gril family. Right now, he had the power to contend against them even if he was alone. Sure that they had financial wealth on their sides, but so what? He could make more money than them if his plan worked well in the very near future.

Enjar started to search Kail's body to look for his belongings. His first spot was on the man's waist where there was an attached bag around it. Enja put his hand inside and his hand touched a scroll. Without further ado, he took it out and took a glance at it. Seeing this, he got curious and ordered the group of people in front of him.

"Hey! What are you doing?! That's my-"

"All of you step back 10 steps from where you are standing. Right now."

Without even having the time to finish his words, Kail got cut off from Enjar's loud voice. His voice sounded firm, as if he could not take no as an answer. Looking at the situations in front of them, the group of people could only obey Enjar's words and backed away. Still, they did not dare to take a glance away from Enjar or else he may be doing something to their young master.

Enjar put away the sword around Kail's neck and used the sword to cut the knot that sealed the scroll. After the scroll was unfolded, Enjar took a look at the contents inside of it. The information from the writings made Enjar smile in awe. He let out a chuckle and shaked his head.

Seeing Enjar's action, Kail glared at Enjar with bloodied eyes. He could not accept what was happening to him and his men. This man had been destroying their plans and activities. He kept on meddling with their business and did not give them any face whatsoever. Especially that incident where he dealt with his family. Just remembering it was enough to make his face twisted and angry.

"Is what is said inside this scroll legit?" Enjar glanced at the man with a mustache while smiling at him. Thinking about the information inside the scroll, he could not help but feel thrilled. It seemed that he had hit a jackpot today.

The mustachioed man sighed heavily when he heard Enjar's question. He had already resigned their fate when he saw Enjar take away the scroll from Kail's bag. He could only try to convince Enjar to not take things too far or else things were going to get awry. He was sure that Enjar would not make things more complicated than it had already been. Because if Enjar really dared to kill Kail, then reconciliation was pretty much impossible, and they would be tearing at each other right here right now.
