FIRE & BLOOD

"You can't let her live, she can create more hybrids." Silas nods at him "I know."Silas answered, and I flinched. My entire body recoiled. His Jaw tightened. Hands trembling, I scuttled backwards for the door, unable to look away from the glaze of hurt on his face. "I'm sorry," I whisper and I wasn't sure why I was even apologising. I turned around, blindly staggering out the door into the cold. Picking up my foot, I started running. Running as fast as my feet could take me. He wanted to kill me, a ragged sob left me. Running further into the trees, everything that happened between us was forgotten....... There was no warning, no sound, nothing. An arm circle around my waist catching me, I shrieked as my feet slipped out from under me. My feet dangle in the air. I knew who it was before he even spoke. Rage feels all this because of who I was. I punched at his back as he throws us into the snow. "Don't ever run from us." He growled, yanking my hair back. His eyes were fully black and fangs out, then he struck. His two fangs ripping into my skin, pain lanced my neck, causing my entire body to jerk. The burn travelled all the way through my body, this was a different feeling from him feeding. I couldn't move, I was paralysed in his arm. I felt warm liquid entering my body, I shook as it mixed with my blood. I could feel him in my entire system, everything changed. The intense hurting became something else, something overwhelming in an entirely different way. A new ache flared inside me, heating my blood until it felt like every part of me was filling with molten lava. Chapter 14

Lyanna

A crashing shakes the tavern, a dark figure jump from the third floor, a roar that sent a bolt of cold terror through me fills the room. He stood up, twice his size and height. Dark light fur covered his skin, large claw and fangs twice in size. Grabbing the woman by her neck and split her into two. I watch petrify at the Lycan in front of me. He drops her at my feet, he stood like a human on two legs. Dropping all the wood as he sniffs me, too frightened to move.

"What's all the noise?" The drunk man that greeted us at the door stumble down the stairs, the Lycan looks his way slowly, snarling quietly. Picking up the man by the hand, he slams his body into the wall repeatedly.

"Stop! Please stop!" I scream when his head smashes everywhere part of his inside getting on my face and cloak. He drops what's left of the man on the stairs, turning back to me.

"He didn't hurt me, look I'm fine," I say not sure if he could understand what I was saying but I need Silas to come back.

"Mine." My mouth drops opened when he spoke, speechless that he could speak while in his Lycan form. His bones started snapping back, it was very painful to watch and shortly Silas stood before me chest naked, trousers half split and blood coated his skin.

"Silas?" I called when my heart slowed and my breathing got heavy. Fighting to stay standing, unsure what was happening to me. The doors to the tavern were torn open, the wind carried the snow in. We were greeted by sets of yellow bright eyes, they stood by the doors snarling. What are they?

Without warning, Silas was torn from me. I fell forward on my knees. I look back watching Silas fighting the man that attacked him, the man is thrown onto a wood pole, the pole sticks out of his chest dripping with his blood. I couldn't even scream as my stomach roiled at the sight. The others at the door came charging at us, screeching. I counted at least six of them. One of them pointing a bow at Silas, he had already shot him, there was an arrow lodged into Silas naked chest. Five men swinging swords at him, shuddering afraid they would hurt him, something inside me snapped when Silas roar slice the air as another arrow enters him. Out of the corner of my eyes, the sixth man lunges for me. Using my hands to shield my face from the attacks but it never comes. The man hovers above the ground, gasping. My eyes snap to my hands, red liquid resembling blood floating in the air following my movement. A light emerges in the centre of the tiny blood particles. My hood drops as I stood up, staring at the man that lunged for me. I cranked my head at him, feeling his pain. Welcoming it, my fingers move in slow circles controlling the red liquid. His neck bent sideways and his hands and feet followed. The wind increases in the tavern. He screams, gagging on his one blood. Rising my right hand, I pull the liquid apart until I heard his heart stopped. I lowered my hands breathing hard and his body falls to my feet. I stare at his yellow lifeless eyes as blood seeped out of them. I killed a man, scrambling away from his body, I shock in fear. What did I just do? Staring down at my hands, they were trembling and the tip of my fingers painted red.

Looking across the tavern, Silas stood beside Jon.  He must have joined the fight. They both watch me, eyes wide. Jon gripped his sword tighter, "please tell me we can kill her now." I drew back, chest rising and falling. "Silas?" I whispered, he just stares at me, I reach out wanting to feel him like I did when he got shot. I felt nothing, he watches me with no emotions, no pain, no sadness just nothing.

"Talk about killing her again and you'll lose more than your tongue." The coldness in Silas' tone chilled my soul. His gaze never left me as his eyes darkened.

"She can fucking blood-bend, like Morgan." Jon snaps at Sails, "Did you forget, what she could do. She made you with her powers, mixing your blood." He yells, needing Silas to see his reason for wanting to kill me.

"You can't let her live, she can create more hybrids." Silas nods at him "I know."Silas answered, and I flinched. My entire body recoiled. His Jaw tightened.
