Surprise Visitors
There was a part of the forest that really had an abundance of fruit-bearing trees and even bushes filled with berries. It was almost impossible to imagine that the same forest which had large snake-like monsters contained a bounty of fruits.
Sammi and the others were picking berries and explaining which ones were ripe and edible, the others that were sour and unfit for eating, and the ones that contained medicinal properties.
"There really are a lot of fruits here. It reminds me a lot of Madame Atena Wiss' class. I'm so glad we took it," Stell said with a grin.
"Should we try to get a basket of these berries and bring them back to Madame?" Alana suggested.
"Hmm… I don't think we'll be able to bring them fresh," Miri said. She popped a berry into her mouth. "Too bad, they're really sweet."
Emma raised a brow. "How about we make some fruit jams and give them to her as souvenirs?"
