Chapter 37

Travis and Winston came in. “Hey, what’s up?” Winston wore a worried look.

Grandpa said, “Dustin is worse again.” He shook his head.

Winston said, “That’s too bad. Maybe we should do a healing circle for him. I never believed in them, but I knew a woman who needed surgery. She had a hole in her rectum, and it was allowing feces to leak into her vagina. She was scheduled for surgery anyway for something else, but the night before, she had a healing circle at her church. The next day in surgery, there were two surgeons there, they couldn’t find the problem in her rectum.” He lifted his brows. “I think it was a miracle. I think God healed her.”

Angela said, “Let’s do that for him. Now.”

They walked into the living room, and Grandpa gently woke Dustin. “Son, we all want to do a healing session on you. Will you allow it?”
