It was too late, or so it seemed. "T-Take my whole body, just heal my wife! I'll sacrifice anything!" he begged the doctor. The doctor said he required a new brain, basically if this were to go through, he would have to sacrifice his life for hers, and the chances of it even working were very slim. "I-I'll do it! Take me to the hospital." Akatsuki said with determination. The operation succeeded, but he died in the process. He entered a blinding light, and saw that he had entered an arena. Dragon King Kaen

There was tons of paparazzi outside the castle, hundreds upon hundreds piled up. It was quite a mess.

Finally making our way to the front by me using by brute strength and guiding Gura, we made it to the front.

"Remember, he is an SSS-rank being that can level nations if he willed it, be careful with your words, that doesn't mean that you agree with everything he says, that will only show how weak willed you are, but know your boundaries, ok?" I said while Gura and I were standing infront of a castle that reached the sky.

Gura walked up to the guard in a shy manner, many eyes were upon her. I could tell her mental state was a mess, such pressure wasn't something any person would be used to.

"D-Dragons Law..." she said is a low voice, but the guards heard clearly and they knew that this was the girl that the king wanted.

Stepping through the front doors, I was pleasantly surprised to see how impressive the interior of this castle was. There were two curved staircases that created a circle, with a gigantic chandelier floating in the middle of it. This chandelier seemed to be made of the same orbs of light that were dotted throughout the city.

"Hello, I am Silvia, I will be guiding you to meet the king, come with me." she said while guiding me and Gura to the room where the royal family resided.

The welcoming crew was all situated around the rectangular dining table downstairs. The King was on the far end of the table with me directly opposite of him. The Queen sat perpendicular to her husband, with a tiny dragon girl seated right next to her. The grandpa was sitting across from the mother and daughter, leaving a pretty big gap between us, while the five guards stood off to the side behind the King.

With both his elbows resting on the table, fingers intertwined, the King was the first to speak. "Child. What did you say your name was?"

"Forgive me for the late introduction. My name is Gura Slith, and I come from a remote town in the Dragon Layer. A pleasure to make your acquaintance King, Queen, Elder, and Princess." Gura stood up and bowed slightly at each of them individually before sitting back down.

Discussion wasn't going to progress if they were going to treat her like a child.

Both the King and Queen and the guards in the back showed evident looks of surprise from her mature behavior, while even the grandpa had an amused smirk on his face; I gave her a smile of approval.

Regaining composure, the King continued on. "It seems you are much more mature than your age. Forgive me for assuming. My name is Kaen Rengoku and this is my wife, Krystal Rengoku and my father Kian Rengoku. As for what happened, please tell us. We would like to hear how you awakened."

Waving off the apology, she began telling the story. She made sure to be very vague in telling them how she got her "power" and what fueled her to get stronger.

She quickly moved on, telling them her experience in the carriage.

At this, the King slammed both of his hands on the table, his eyes narrowing into a menacing glare.

"I should've known it was humans…"

She corrected his mildly racist comment and said, "They were slave traders. Them and bandits alike prey on, not just huma...

"Did I ask?" Kaen said with a calm look, but he boasted an impeccable aura that made Gura sweat.

"Humans are all greedy beings that need to be put in there place." he said while glancing at me, I just acted shy and scared to get him off my back.

"...Well, I'll offer you a deal, you can be exclusively trained by me, the Dragon King, to fully unlock your mark and be able to potentially be the next Representative of Dragons." he said with a grin, it was a very good offer asking pretty much for her to stay here and get stronger, but I knew I couldn't let that happen, and thankfully, she knew that too.

"W-WHAT! YOU DARE DENY THE DRAGON KING!" he yelled with full force, releasing his full pressure around the room. The gravity in the room easily increased by 100 fold. All the royalty were able to stay calm, but they had frowns on their face, the soldiers were even worse kneeling on the ground. Out of everyone, elder was completely fine.

But me and Gura...

Gura was on the floor with multiple broken bones puncturing her skin, blood and tears were dripping everywhere. It was quite a gruesome sight.

I was is a similar state, but using gravity style on myself, I was able to at least stop the puncturing by lifting my skin up.

"Stop this Kaen, you have gone too far." the elders voice echoed throughout the room and into the Dragon King's ears.

"O-Oh, sorry father." he said releasing his pressure, he was acting like a child who was being scolded by his father for spilling soda on the carpet, not for dislocating all of the bone sin two people.

"Since they don't want to cooperate, heal them and kick them out of this palace, be sure to check everywhere if this girl alliances with any other kingdom, we will wage war." he said, taking him and his family out of the room.
