"What should we name him dear?"

"Argus Geryon it is. We should quickly start the ceremony let's hope the eternal flame will bless our child."

'Eternal Flame! Sun village of Fiore looks like I'm quite close to the fairy tail guild that seems to take center stage all the time.'

They walked out of the house while carrying me towards the center of the village. I looked at the unfamiliar starry sky as I came to a realization I'm not on the same earth anymore. In the middle of the village, there's a huge fire pit illuminating the entire village which is a stark contrast to the darkness of the night.

As we move closer to the blazing inferno that is the fire pit I can feel the heat assault me. They stopped 10 meters away from the fire as they spoke in a respectful tone.

"Oh Great Eternal flame you have guarded us and protected us for generations. We beg for you to bless this child."

As they said those worlds the village lit up as a few people who saw the event snicker. "Its been two generations since The Great Eternal Flame blessed someone why do they even try."

I stared into the flame as it slowly swayed. Suddenly I heard a deep voice in my head.

'Speak why does a child like you have a matured soul?'

'Oh Great Eternal flame I seem to possess memories of my past life. And I seem to know the future and I know something bad will happen.'

'Oh how interesting tell than before I burn you to cinders outsider.'

'The Return of Acnologia!'

The flame shook as I relaid my thoughts to him.

'Its hopeless than nothing can stop him. Wait! what do you want to do? What is your purpose.'

I snickered as I said.

'I've spent my past life helping people, now I want to live my life. And in this world, only power can let you do that. I know you can help me. What would it be Atlas?'

'IMPUDENT! You think you can defeat Acnologia even the Fire Dragon King failed what makes you better? But nevertheless I won't last long and someone needs to protect this village. Question is are you willing to abandon what you are?.'

'Yes, I will protect this village or at least will keep this village safe.'

'Than its a deal!'

Meanwhile, in the real world, my new parent was starring in front of the flame. Minutes passed as they wait for some kind of reaction.

BOOM!

The Eternal Flame expanded as my body who was currently in the arms of my father floated toward the fire.

"My baby!"

They watched as I was being swallowed by endless flame. Suddenly a deep voice that was never been heard for a very long time spoke.

'From this day forth you will be the first dragon slayer that I ever trained'

I saw that I was surrounded devilish red flame that felt oddly comfortable.

I yelled in pain as the flame invaded my soul burning it slowly I feel my soul being ignited as small silver shard surrounded by flames took form in the place where my soul used to be was.

The entire village lit up as every person rushed to go see what's happening.

They saw a baby surrounded by flames who was being slowly lowered in the ground.

My parents quickly took hold of me and inspected me for burns. Except for my eyes now blazing red nothing really changed.

4 years later...

A young boy with black hair is sitting crossed in front of the fire pit.

'Question why do my elemental soul have a silver shard instead of only fire?'

'Well, I gave you part of my soul im half Adamantine dragon and half Hellfire dragon. Enough I don't feel good talking about my origins with you. You are already a full dragon slayers it won't be long before you start transforming to a dragon if my estimation is right, in 3 years you will start to transform."

'Anyway thank you Atlas, I'm sure to repay you when the time has come.'

'I have exhausted a lot of energy this last 4 years. I'm going to hibernate.'

I stood up as I realized it was already morning people are already setting up their stalls. When they saw me coming they quickly greeted me with a smile.

"Young Geryon not doing your weird exercise in front of the Eternal Flame today?"

"Nope, I'm quite tired I'm going now bye."

As I left I heard them with my incredible sense of hearing.

"I was there when it happened I wonder what he got from the blessing."

I waved at them as I walked towards my house.

As I walked toward my house I see carts pulled by horses and a bunch of kids playing in the streets.

I tried approaching them before but they all ran away it seems that their parents told them to stay clear of me.

Giants some say we came from humans some say we were the descendant of a god. But if something was true about giants is that they can't use magic all they use for battle is their overwhelming strength.

Although I'm in the land of giant everything seems up to scale and even bugs are perfectly scaled.

As I reach a familiar house I knocked on the door.

My mom opened the door as she greeted me.

"Come inside breakfast is ready."

As I walked in I saw my dad who was eating already. He looked at me and into a vacant chair in front of me. I sat down in front of him as I ate. He looked at me and said.

"How much can you carry now?"
