Deus did not see Histoire for the next two hours. Her door was locked and she would not open it no matter how many times he knocked and asked her to open it. Keren was an early riser and instantly caught on to the situation. Histoire was never the overly sensitive typ and if she ever threw a tantrum or was in a fit of sadness that nobody else could deal with, she suggested that time be given the chance to solve the problem. But he could not wait for her to calm down and open the door. He had to see his mother. When Keren heard him say that, she nodded in understanding.
"I'm sure Histoire will be out soon. Who knows, she probably fell asleep in there." And indeed, she was right. Histoire has succumbed to the drowsiness and had already forgotten about why she was mad by the time she closed her eyes to sleep. She was just as much at fault as he had been, and since neither were prepared to apologize, there was no point in expecting too much from the other.
