Lost and Found

*knock, knock, Knock.*

"Enter."

"Excuse my rudeness my Lord, but there is an important message for the young Lord."

The man nodded.

"Young Master, they found a lead, not far from here, the soldiers sighted a little girl attacking hunters." His assistant whispered.

"Father if I may be excused from this meeting, it seems there are poachers in our forest."

"You may go."

The young man bowed to his father and left the room.

"Is my horse ready?"

"Yes young Lord."

"What was the description of the child?"

"He didn't see her face but she looked like a 5 or 6 year old and had long black hair. As for the clothing…, she was wearing practically nothing. She was only covered by a few pieces of cloth on her lower body. But she had two items that belonged to the young Lady. The girl had a necklace with a red diamond and a an hair ornament with the same stone."

The young man nodded and mounted his horse.

"Do not let a word slip of this to my father, until I'm absolutely sure she is my missing sister."

"Yes young Lord."

The young man left the grounds and road with speed to the place the little girl was spotted.

[Mansion]

"My Lord, isn't it about time to give up the search of the little Lady?"

"What are you insinuating?"

"Forgive my blunt words, but we think it's about time to accept that the little Lady is dead. It has been 3 years now… there is no way a child of 3 years old would be able to survive."

The man look cold an murderous at his cousin.

"Lucifer, unless the remains of daughter are found…she is still alive."

"My wife died in that accident but my daughter was nowhere to be found on that day.

"And don't bother to tell me she got flung from the carriage, because the investigation showed as much that that wasn't possible."

"I will reduce the amount of people searching for Hisha, but I will not stop the search and that is final."

[Forest]

"Lord Aster."

"No need for formalities. Where is the girl?"

"She is not far from here, there is a lake nearby and if she is not there, if you walk 30 minuts north from the lake you can find her den."

"We do recommend to be careful, she lives with a dire wolf in that den."

"What about the poachers?"

"There are 10 humans and they seem to be hunting this little girl, because she and the dire wolf are responsible for killing them left and right."

Aster was thinking, he found the number of humans overkill for just 1 dire wolf and a little girl.

He was nearing the lake and heard sounds of a child that sounded it was in distress.

Just as he was running up to the lake a big grey dire wolf past him.

Aster didn't think twice and summoned his shadow familiar.

"Dante report to my father I need reinforcements."

"Yes master."

Aster looked on how both the girl and the dire wolf attacked al the poachers, he was stunned by what he saw.

He pulled his sword and got out of hiding as he charged at the men.

[Mansion]

The Lord was in his office looking over some papers.

"My Lord, Master send me to let you know he is in need of reinforcement."

"What's the situation?"

"Master found a little girl in the forest and she is being attacked by humans."

"How many?"

"10 my Lord. But I noticed more are hidden."

"Alright, I'll head out myself. Return to your Master and support him until I arrived."

The shadow bowed and left again.

The man casted a spell and transported himself to the forest.

[Forest] 

Aster was battling the humans but more started to appear he was focused on the incoming humans when he suddenly he heard a yelp.

He turned around and saw the dire wolf down, he then searched for where the girl was and saw a man had pinned her down, as she was struggling to break free.

He rushed up to the man and decapitated him.

He then stood in front of the dire wolf and the girl to protect them.

"Master, reinforcement has arrived."

Aster looked up and saw his father on top of the hill.

The man casted a spell and shadow creatures came from the ground and killed the left over humans.

He checked the corpse of the humans and saw unusual marks on them.

He walked up to his son.

"What happened here?"

"You wouldn't believe me even if I told you."

"Try me."

He started to explain what had happened.

"The little girl, she has a familiar, but it is manifested in her body."

"She either possesses Cerberus or a Black Dog."

The man looked at the little girl, who was frantically shaking the body of the dire wolf, but then gave up when she couldn't detect any life in the wolf and started to whimper and lay down next to it.

The man slowly approached the girl.

He could only see her long black hair but he then saw a mark on her shoulder that was the same as his daughter.

When he was half a meter away from her, he crouched down.

"Is she your mother?"

'Sha, aunt.'

'Sha care me, save me when Hi baby.'

The man had a good look of the girl, she looked a little malnourished and had a lot of old wounds and scars.

He looked sad at the girl. "What's your name?"

The girl looked up and looked warry at the man.

He was now certain the girl in front of him was his lost little daughter. The mark on her back, the deep black hair and ruby eyes. There was no mistaking in it, this girl was his lost daughter.

Aster also saw her face for the first time and was shocked.

"Do you have a name?"

She took off her pendant and threw it to him.

'Leave.'

The man picked up the pendant and saw on the back a name. "Hisha…"

The girl got up and wanted to take the body of the wolf but she didn't have the strength to move such a large body.

"Let us help you."

She looked at the man still warry.

'Hi want's bring Sha home.'

The man picked up the large wolf and signaled for his son to fallow them.

"Show us the way."

After a 30 minute of walking they saw a den.

'Sha home.'

The girl took a few things from the den.

She ran back and forth and every time she brought large rocks.

Aster was curious so he followed her and saw a big bolder and took it with him.

The girl pushed the man telling him to put the wolf inside. She then pushed Aster telling him to place the bolder in front of the entrance of the den.

She left again and came back with flowers.

She build a little stone tower and put the flowers in front of it an closed her eyes.

When she was done she picked up the items and started to walk away put fainted after a few steps.

"Hisha!"

The man picked her up and notice she had a fever.

He took of his clock and warped her in it.

"You take your sister back by horse, I came by portal magic and it will be very bad if she got home that way."

"Yes father."

Aster ran as fast as he could back and ran past the soldiers.

"My Lord!"

"Later, the humans are dead that is all you need to know!"

Aster urged his horse and road at full speed back.

[Mansion]

Aster ran inside carrying his sister and was already met with his father and told him to bring the girl to his room.

"I'll get the doctor."

Aster nodded.

After 30 minuts the doctor arrived and saw the bundled up girl and carefully examined her.

He spotted the mark on her back and was shocked.

"My Lord, this little girl…"

"There is no mistaking, this is little Lady Hisha."

"Where did you find her?"

"I got a report of humans in the forest and when I found her she was surrounded by them."

"She and a dire wolf were fighting them and killing them."

"I rushed in to help, when I saw her arms transformed in to doglike arms."

"I thinks her familiar is manifested in her body…"

"Say what now!"

"That is dangerous! If her familiar isn't separated from her body soon, she doesn't have much time and loses her life!"

"Then what do we do?" Aster asked the doctor.

"We reduced her fever first and when that is down we need to bring her to the summoning circle and you and your father have to summon the familiar by force."

"But won't that…"

"It won't, we can summon her familiar out of her body and make a contract with him for her."

After a few hours they got her fever down and brought her down to basement and summoned her familiar.

They started the ritual and the doctor was outside the room.

A big black dog appeared in front of them.

"Well your first guess was right Aster, your sister has Cerberus as a familiar."

"What do you want."

"How dare you manifest in my daughter's body!"

"And what else was I supposed to do, she never underwent the proper summoning ritual and my Master was in danger." 

"For now you make a temporary contract with me so you are out of her body, once she is in better health you can form an official contract with her."

"No."

"You don't really have a say in this matter, if you refuse, your Master will die because of you."

Cerberus then gave in and made a temporary contract with Demon.
