resilience of magic

As days go by, I feel myself growing dull, overwhelmed by an emotion that always emerges whenever I use my magic. It's as if something inside me isn't dormant but refuses to wake up. My mother didn't tell me anything about the Revolution, which upset me deeply. Everything happening around me just makes me want to take a little break. But I can't control this overwhelming emotion in my heart. It's a mix of betrayed love and sorrow that just dorms inside me, disappearing every time I try to get it out.

After those days when my mother never contacted or talked to me, I got really upset. I began training on my magic and my swordsmanship skills. I made sure my sword never got reluctant with me. I also tried to feel them together. Every time I felt a type of emotion and stayed calm, the water would run toward my sword and just begin trying to slash and dash around to make sure how it worked. It's so fantastic; my power became more silky, and a water border surrounded my sword. It felt more durable than before.

But still, I don't understand what happened and what all those dreams mean. But I got so tired at one point; I just wanted to rest in my room. When I felt overwhelming, I went to my room, lay down on my bed, and just imagined my future. Thoughts that never came to my mind started going through my thoughts. If I'll marry one day, if I'll have a love life, if someone truly loves me just for my personality, not my title, not my power, not for nothing. As I look at Alia, she was so serious all the time.

Suddenly, someone behind the door knocked, and all my seriousness made me hide behind whatever it was—a cup or even the plant. She was faster than light but didn't look at the door. I saw my mother open it, her face walking, and I could see her hand trembling for some reason. She sat down beside me on that bed. I got up and sat beside her to see what was happening to her. It was something that serious, what was happening behind my back.

"My precious daughter, you have to know, there's a high risk that the Revolution will be shut down by the Kingdom of Magic. The Elven King doesn't want to make any type of war with the humans."

I was shocked because of every word coming out of her mouth. I didn't know how I could say it, but this is unbelievable. I had prepared myself so much for this point to get shut down by the King. I couldn't blame him, but at the same time, I needed to claim my kingdom to return it to the place where I belonged.

"Somehow, I need to talk to the King, whatever it takes, trust me just this time, mother, because it is my only hope to retrieve what we lost," shocked because all my face was full of anger, resilient that she never expected. But still, she didn't do anything but shiver a bit, and tears fell down. I didn't want to see my mother that weak.

"Mother, I know no one told me, so I know I have to understand everything by myself. But in this way, my heart was full of anger that made me feel the hatred for every person who betrayed me. Even if I am not a queen, I'm still a person who got betrayed over and over that no one can understand the pain. You want me to shut up on something that my family owned, and I just leave it like that."

My mother didn't say anything; instead, she just got closer to me and hugged me softly. Tears were still shedding on her face; my heart was still sinking deeply. I saw her crying, so I returned the hug, just to suppress my care for my only mother I have.

As I see the blue sky without even one single cloud and the beautiful sunshiny on us, I looked at my mother slowly. I let myself away from her warm embrace, looked at her in the eyes, and offered a soft smile. "Mother, grandpa will be proud of us if we get it and win or if we not because in our hearts, we're still fighting for the right of our places. I am not here chasing titles; it's more about revealing the truth."

As my heart was full of pride, she put her hand on my shoulder. Still, the smile never left her face. I could see when she's in pain or proud, she's like a book that everyone carries, and I can't deny I am like her. "You're such a resilient daughter that no one can control you beside gods and fate. I still don't know where the end or where you will go, but the only thing that I understand, you will bring a lot of Pride to our family that no one can get even myself I didn't have a chance to get it and I need to tell you something that there are a competition that grand you any type of wish you from the king you can take it as a good opportunity to make sure that you can do your own Rebellion."

As we smiled to each other and understood every bit of what we said, after she shared everything she had with me, I was soft and smiled as she left my room and closed the door. I got up from my bed and went to my clothes. As I saw all the clothes that I have, I took my adventurer one and put it on and went towards the town outside of this magical Tower, wandering around. Even if I didn't know anything, everyone recognized me because I was the only one different. But I didn't try to do anything because even if I asked anyone, no one replied; everyone just ignored me, ghosted me like I am nothing.

As I was going from shop to shop just asking where the knight competition is or where I can sign up, no one replied until I stumbled upon an old lady who needed to go to the other street. My heart was too soft, so I helped her, even if she didn't ask. It was slow, but I didn't say anything. Instead, she gave me a big smile on her face and whispered to me with her all the voice that everyone can hear. "Young lady, I didn't know you are too strong, and I hear so many people say that you are asking about the competition, so I decided to help you. You have a pure heart, people that no one can see. Go to the end of this town; you will find a place full of people from different countries. Just follow them; they will help you."

My face slowly lighted up and chuckled with a smile on my face. I thanked her from the bottom of my heart as I left; she still looked at me, and her smile never left, chuckling at me. I didn't expect old people to be that nice. I kept running towards the end of the town; it's just like the entrance of the Kingdom. As I was running faster and faster, I saw three people. They were like me, humans. Finally, but I was panting. "Excuse me, do you know where I can enter the competition?"

They looked at me, and my clothing was a bit nasty, not the best condition. But still, I tried handling everything out. Some of them were just chuckling, but no one replied. But one of them approached me and helped me out a little bit. As I stood beside him, I just wanted to know what this competition exactly about because I enter just to talk to King. "So, are you an adventurer looking for a reward too?"

I looked at him empathetically, smiling with pride. "I'm an adventurer, traveling from place to place to find the right path. I have a big wish that no one has been able to fulfill yet. I hope this competition might hold the solution I need."

As I glanced at him, I could see a big grin on his face. I looked at him again, noticing the power emanating from him. He was more powerful than he looked, captivating everyone around. I chuckled more than expected. He glanced at me uncomfortably. "I don't know you so well, my lady, but could you stop looking at me like that?" I tried looking in the opposite direction, but I couldn't. He had a beautiful face, and combined with his power, it was hard to ignore. I didn't want to come off as strange, so I stopped and showed some mercy. "Anyway, why did you join this competition? I've shared my intentions, but you haven't told me yours yet."

He glanced at his sword and shield, both sturdy and practical, made for facing various challenges while adventuring. "I'm from another Kingdom, here with the same purpose as you—to make a wish to the King privately. So, we share some so much similarities so I will not pressure you so much because I understand this feeling and plus don't you see the similarities don't you ?"

I observed his gear, contemplating if he needed money, a kingdom, or something else entirely. "Look, I don't know your exact intentions, but one thing's clear—you're not here solely for the competition's purpose. There's something else driving you, something you're aware of, unlike the others."

As we signed up for the competition, I deliberated over the risks, especially the disclaimer absolving the organizers from any responsibility in case of death. Despite my concerns, the urgency of speaking with the King compelled me to sign.

Retiring to the waiting room, I reflected on the day's events, anticipating the King's arrival the next day. I yearned to share the day's developments with my mother, uncertain of her reaction, but I was so happy that I finally found was a competition and entered without any type of interruption she probably will scold me I'll repeat but I am still proud of myself because I am slowly getting closer to my goal that I'm always dream of

I take a bit of a break because I need some inspiration because I don't want to make any type of boring chapter
