"what do you think you are doing Mr. Davis?" I asked trembling.

"Nothing my dear. I just want us to talk alone" he replied coming closer and closer.

"What you are doing isn't right. This is harassment. If you let me go now I promise not to report your disgusting behavior" I said taking several steps back till my back was against the wall.

"Oh, my beautiful Ariana. You are an angel born to a devil and you don't even know. Let me corrupt your pure soul so you can finally be the demon you are."

Suddenly he was right in front of my face. His hot breath against my cheeks.

He smiled and I saw that his canines has elongated.

"Oh my god!! What are you?" I screamed scared out my wits.

"Stay away from me please" I pleaded desperately.

"I can't let you go honey"

I shut my eyes as his teeth almost sinked into the crook of my neck .

I waited for some seconds and didn't feel anything.

I opened my eyes slowly and saw him frozen. He wasn't moving.

I was confused at what happened but also secretly relieved when I saw my necklace emitting a faint dark glow.

I quickly moved away from Mr. Davis, keeping enough distance from him and he was unfrozen once again.

"You bitch! What did you do to me?" He asked cursing immediately he could move.

His eyes suddenly went to my chest.

"I knew it. That necklace was a protective amulet! Who gave it to you? Tell me!" He yelled loudly.

"Why the hell should I tell you that huh?" I replied fearlessly.

"Give it to me immediately!!"

"Not a chance you pig"

He suddenly rushed up to me and I kicked him in his groin hard.

He fell to the floor holding his precious thing and I quickly ran to the door to open it. Thankfully, it was unlocked.

I rushed out of his office and bumped into Hunter.

"Woah! Ariana, where are you rushing off to? I was about to go look for you"

"Oh! Hunter!!" I exclaimed.

I was happy to finally find a friend and I threw myself into his arms sobbing.

He was stiff at first but he slowly relaxed and patted my back soothingly.

When I have finished balling my eyes out I let go of him.

His shirt was soaked with my tears and my nose was running. I looked awful.

My cheeks turned red in embarrassed and I looked at my feets.

Hunter chuckled lightly and handed me his handkerchief.

"You have snot running down your nose"

Now I was more embarrassed but I collected it anyways.

I blew my nose and finally looked at him.

"Thank you for your support Hunter. I'll go to the restroom to freshen up" I said that and walked away quickly before he could ask me any other question.

After freshening up in the restroom, I head back to class making up my mind never to be bullied by that pervert and also planning to investigate all the wierd things that has been happening lately.

I walked into the class and took my seat .

I searched around but I couldn't find Ricky anywhere. I wonder where that wierdo sent her to.

Still lost in my thoughts, I felt a shadow looming over me. It was Hunter.

He took a seat and stared at me intently. I knew what was coming.

"What's wrong with you Ariana? You and Ricky have been acting strange since you went to meet Mr Davis. I saw Ricky on my way to you. When I asked about you she ignored me completely and walked off as if controlled by something. The next moment I see you running away from something and having a mental breakdown"

"There is a completely reasonable explanation for this" I said trying to cook up a lie.

"Am waiting " he replied.

"When we met Mr Davis he ordered Ricky out of his office because he wanted to punish only me. Ricky left the office very angry. I guess that's why she ignored you besides you and Ricky are not in talking terms .

Then Mr Davis ordered I clean the female bathroom and bring my parents to school tomorrow or i was going to get suspended. I told him my parents aren't home but he was being unreasonable so I stormed out his office in anger and when I saw you I guess I just let a my frustrations out hence the crying "

Hunter looked at me for a few seconds but it seemed like hours. My heart hammered in my chest hoping he will believe my lies and not ask me any other question.

"I never thought you were the emotional type princess" he finally replied.

I sighed in relief.

"What are you going up do now?" He asked me with concern evident in his voice.

"I can get my elder sister to act like your mum? How does that sound?" He asked worriedly.

I was touched by his concern for me.

"It isn't necessary. I can handle it myself. Mr Davis is simply being unreasonable".

"I know right. Talking in class only warrants detention not suspension. Maybe he has a beef with you"

I lowered my head so that he won't see my eyes. Afraid he will be able to read my thoughts.

"I'll handle him" I replied simply.

"Don't be sad Ariana. Everything will turn out well ok? I hate to see you sad. Now look at me and give me a smile" he said chuckling.

"No, go away" I replied shyly.

He laughed lightly and used his index finger to lift my jaw till my eyes are looking at his.

"Now.. smile" he said.

I couldn't help but smile brightly at his cute face. He is talking to me like am his baby sister or something.

"Aha, that's the Ariana I know" he said chuckling.

We were both quiet now.

He stared at me intently.

He raised his thumb and caressed my cheeks lovingly.

"I hate to see you cry princess. But even when you cry you manage to look stunning" he said smiling.

"Oh please, these are lies. Are you telling me i look beautiful with snot running out my nose?" I asked playfully.

I laughed lightly and said

"Yes, you look gorgeous with a red running nose"

I blushed and looked down but he raised my head up again.

" Why did you and Drayce fight?" I asked changing the conversation.

Hunter's hands dropped from my face.

"You have to tell me Hunter. Please?" I pleaded.

Hunter sighed heavily.

"We fought because of you Ariana"
