Chapter 3 - Guild Master Cedric

"hey! hurry up we need to find the Princess! "

" what? why? what's happening?? "

" the Princess sneak out again from the palace! "

" again!? why is it that our Princess love to bring trouble to us!?.... sigh we need to find her again "

" come on hurry up! "

" yeah yeah I'm coming siigghhh "

It's unfamiliar languages but strangely I can understand it.

' w-what's happening? where am i? huh? this place is.... infirmary? ' when I got back to my senses, I got up and find myself in a unfamiliar place. It looks like infirmary I remembered when i was attending school in my elementary days,but it's look old.

' wait Princess? looks like I manage to survive once again ' letting out a small smile, I look around the place.

' there's nothing much to see here... that said what should i do next? guess I'll wait for someone to come ' while contemplating and organizing my thoughts I waited for someone to enter to this room, while slowly charging my energy for the upcoming battle.

10 whole minutes passed.

I started to heard some footsteps heading towards the close door, and as if they're right in front of the door, the footsteps stopped.

" hello? are you awake? " a rather young or old voice of a man rang out inside the room, asking if I'm awake.

" y-yes I'm awake p-please come in " i said while stuttering my words a little.

' sigh looks like I really can't handle conversing to others.... but strange, back then when the kids are arguing I can speak to them with ease...hmmmm ' while wondering about that strange situation, the shut door slowly opened and the first one to enter is an old man or wait. ' he's still young right? '

The old? man who entered have a very dark circle under his eyes, ' oh looks like he's in a lot of stressed '. thus I told to myself that I would not make him pissed or I might actually meet my creator very soon.

" Hello young man I am Cedric. and also I am the guild master of the adventurer guild.... and you? " as soon as he finished his introduction he asked me to introduce myself to him as well.

" I-I am Alex sir Alex Ravens n-nice to meet you " successfully surviving my first battle I somewhat feel proud at myself as I introduced myself properly.

" hmm Alex Ravens huh " after listening my introduction he muttered my name as if there's something strange in it, and indeed there is.

" young man are you perhaps a noble? "

" eh? " I lost in though as to why he asked me as if I'm a noble? but for what reason he asked that kind of question?

Seeing looked like I am contemplating something the old man follow up said.

" oh because you have a second name! you see only noble can have a second name. If you have one then you're a noble man "

" uh huh " slowly organizing my thoughts from the sudden info i got. I quickly decided to hide my last name, because I know being a noble is a troublesome one.

I hurriedly replied to him to clear things out "ah no sir Cedric!! I am Alex yes A-alex only "

Sir Cedric become silent for a little time then opened his mouth and said " oh yeah? then you're Alex right? " as if not wanting to dig out more about my sudden change of name. He quickly change the subject or rather he quickly interrogate me.

" so Alex why are you here? what did you do in the forest that you have to come here in a

pitiful sight? and Alex what kind of clothes this is? it's strangely have a unique design "

I become quite by his multiple questions, thus,I remain quite for a whole minute, trying to find the correct answer to those questions.

As i resolved myself i spoke " um sir I am someone from far away here, d-due to some c-circumstances. I found myself walking t-towards here. and this c-clothes are native from our land sir " it's so hard to communicate, growing up being an outcast I only think what I want and need.

Sir Cedric have a satisfied look in his face, after I answered his question and he asked again.

" ok then Alex here is my last question.... " he look at me directed to my eye as if reading what's inside my head.

Being lock in his eye for a good second. I heard someone from back door saying something and panting as if they're enjoying the show. As I manage to take a look I could see a very beautiful girl watching us, while her both hands are covering her red like tomato face but still peeking at us.

' what the? ' somehow I feel like there's something I'm losing right at this time, but I shortly shake my thoughts as to forget what did I just see, and by seeing her I could tell that she have so many suitors waiting for her.

The silent Cedric suddenly speak to me as if he finally decided what to ask.

" tell me Alex what do you want do you want to do now? while staying here in this peaceful country " after he said that.He smiled but i could tell that those brown eyes are plotting something.

After I heard those questions I fell silent again, and again, one whole minute past. I respond to his question with my gloomy eyes felled with determination.

" what i want is -- "
