Chapter 12 - Jealousy?

Cedric's PoV

At Margaret warning Cedric just smiled.

He didn't lat himself be affected by those warnings from Margaret.

Instead he's joyful and also puzzled.

He's joyful that the second encounters are don.

The Companion/Partner

Also he's puzzled because it's not time yet for those two to encounter each other.

" it should be when Margaret and her party battling the dragon and..... " Cedric murmured silently while gazing at the door frowning by the sudden change.

But.

He just brush it of saying.

" well since those two are able to meet then that's all matters to me.... " Cedric said and start to do his work again.

At the main hall of the Ivory Guild a lot of gossip can be heard.

" hey why is it our goddess look so pissed right now? "

" I don't know she just become like that "

" come on bro it's your time to shine... go and talk to her already "

" what are you crazy? all I can do is look at her you know "

" really? then you would never gain her attention if you're like that you know "

" what? then why didn't you talk to her then? "

" ..... "

The two guys looks at each other and become quite.

They're talking about Reyna who's doing her usual work while frowning.

She's in the bad mood state for a while now, that alone scared a lot of her suitors that they stop doing their usual show off event every day instead they're looking at Reyna while gossiping wondering what's going on to their goddess.

Reyna PoV

' what's happening to me? why I am like this? first lets calm down " Reyna's didn't know what's happening to her.

She's someone who didn't even get a single interest at the opposite side. She grow up like that. In truth she made herself to think that those men who thinks looks is important by finding a partner is just a boring guy.

That's how she viewed men and also on how she evaluate them.

But there's one person who manage to get her interest.

He didn't look at me with unpleasant thoughts, he didn't talk to me with malicious intent, and also. He's not interested to me.

Reyna's head full of these thoughts.

' he's indeed an interesting one.. ' Reyna's confirmed her evaluation of Alex as an interesting fellow.

' but why those it bother me seeing those scene earlier? ' Reyna question herself why she's feeling these way.

Unfortunately.

' oh i see I think I become like this because... The Guild Master invited Alex to talk upstairs! ' yep unfortunately Reyna's still true to her taste.

And her thoughts becomes crazy again just imagining what the two men doing alone in one room.

' I wanna see! I wanna see! what's happening to them!! ' Reyna's scary reaction turned to a usual smile she's wearing on her work.

Such a gentle smile for having crazy thoughts.

Reyna's indeed a pro at her job.

The show off guys noticed the changed at Reyna's face and look each other, all of them nodded and started to show off.

Now the silent hall become lively again by only one smile of that beauty.

Little did they know Reyna's having such crazy imagination forming to her minute by minute.

Almost 15 minutes passed there's two adventurer going down to the main hall while talking something.

It's Margaret and Me.

We talked various things like how to hunt monster, what should I do in a dire situation, and also how to adjust myself here.

Although it's all Margaret's advice, I just nod myself showing that I understand her.

Now it's almost evening.

Margaret help me find a cheap room to spend my night by 5 copper coins per night. She also treat me something to eat. because I'm really broke with only 5copper coins on hand.

She led me everywhere as if she noticed that I am new to this place and I'm really thankful for that.

We buy skewers for 2 copper coins each so I have a chance to treat her at least. At first she didn't accept it.

" you don't have any money so it's ok " she said.

" it's ok consider this as thanks for everything you did for me " I still insist that she accept it.

I didn't noticed that I'm comfortable talking to her.

So we enjoyed our time and when night comes she says her goodbye.

" goodbye Alex make sure to become a great adventurer at the future ok? I will go now, my party and I have so much thins to prepare for our hunt tomorrow!! " she said

" yeah thank you again and goodbye... have a great night! " I also says my goodbye.

After I finished saying my goodbye she started to walk while waving her hand.

I also wave my hand and head back to that room Margaret's picked for me.
