Margaret and I standing in front of a beautiful red haired girl Reyna.

" Reyna this guy here Alex a newbie you know him? " Margaret point her finger to me while talking to Reyna.

" yes of course I know him.... I just talk to him a few hours ago " Reyna said taking a quick glance to me while answering Margaret.

" why? " Reyna asked Margaret why she's with me and also she asked in curious on what's happening.

" this guy go hunt alone without any proper equipment... you know what I mean right? " Margaret voice out a complaint for me.

" wait?! is that true?! " Reyna asked in surprised.

" yes " Margaret replied.

" oh no! I'm so sorry!! " Reyna start to apologize for the blunder they just make.

There's a rule in Ivory Guild for beginners that they should have at least one sword, or bow, or spear, or shield, to protect themselves and that's all provided by the guild.

That's also the reason why there's so much adventurer in Ivory Guild because of their advantageous rules for adventurer.

it's a win win exchanged.

After all adventurers are one of the most core factor to make a guild run.

That's why Ivory Guild have so much adventurer that it takes hundreds of receptionist staff needed.

Then what if there's an adventurer died on his/her hunt because the guild forget to provide a decent weapon?

The guild reputation might crumble so Reyna apologized to us nonstop and that alone gained so much attention, also those intense glare as if they want to stab me as much as Reyna apologize.

They're a slacker who didn't do anything that might be helpful to the guild. Instead they invest their time just to impress one woman.

While Reyna's apologizing there's familiar voice interjected.

" it's ok Reyna.. " it's Cedric the Guild Master and the one who published all of those rules.

" Guild Master? why are you here? " Reyna asked nervously.

" I heard the commotion so I came down " Cedric replied in a calm voice.

' he's truly the Guild Master here ' I thought, thinking of how he managed to calm down the situation in just a few words.

" hello Alex we meet again and hello Margaret.... what are you doing here? where's your companions? " Cedric greet me and also Margaret. He also asked Margaret about her companions.

" they're spending time for their family... tomorrow we are finally going to hunt the dragon lurking in the very deep forest "

I was surprised when Margaret said she and her companions going to hunt a dragon.

' is she a high ranked adventure ' a question came to mind and shortly it was answered by Cedric.

" oh i see your parties decided to hunt a dragon for your promotion to become S - Rank " Cedric said while letting out a worry eyes looking at the little Margaret.

" yes so I hunt alone today and I happen to meet this guy " Margaret replied and turn her head to look at me while talking to Cedric.

Cedric also look at me and said.

" I am very sorry Alex for not providing you our best support...would you mind come upstairs and talked? " Cedric also apologize to me. That alone made the whole area become loud again that was dead silent a moment ago.

" did just Guild Master Cedric apologize? "

" to think I would see this day "

" oh no my prince you don't have to... how dare him! "

There's so much murmured can be heard and also I gained more haters, this time it's those girl's who's also fantasizing their prince Cedric.

' I didn't do anything thought '

Now my youth days is over, the girls are already hate me.

In that short commotion Margaret spoke.

" yeah we really need to talk.... come let's go Alex " Margaret grab my wrest and pull me upstairs.

Reyna's saw that and stare at us blankly.

" ok let's go... Reyna you can go back to work now " Cedric said while telling Reyna to continue her work.

" yes Guild Master... well then " Reyna bow her head and take a quick glance again but now it's into my wrist whom Margaret's grabbed.

We're now at Cedric's working room.

There's so much grand display around it, high class painting posted everywhere, there's chandelier, and window directed to the Forest of Death.

We sat on the sofa and Cedric offered us a coffee. The coffee in this world is similar to my world but the difference is this coffee right now is much more delicious.

" now I think you already completed your first quest right? " Cedric asked.

" y-yes I defeat five slimes " I replied to his question.

" oh good now I will announce that you're officially become an adventurer... here " Cedric said that I'm an official adventurer now.

Also he handed a copper looking coin but a slightly bigger with a letter written on it 'F'

" that coin identify your rank. Once you'll rank up or got promoted that coin will automatically change " Cedric explained the functions of this coin.

" yeah and there's seven ranked you can achieved start of F which is your rank right now an E,D,C,B,A and last is S " Margaret who's quite the whole time spoke and explain the difference in rank.

" oh i see thank you Margaret " I thanked her.

" it's nothing that's a basic information to know after all, by the way my rank is A " Margaret boast off her rank while wearing a smug like smile.

" you're indeed a high ranked adventurer " I said while looking at her.

" well now I think all complaint are resolved... did you have any complaints Alex? " Cedric talked and asked if I have any complaints but all of it vanished by my promotion.

" I at least want to have a sword " I want a weapon that would help me at my hunt.

" ok we'll do that and also did you bring the broken core of those five slimes? " Cedric agreed to what I need and also he asked for the slimes core.

I stand up and put down the five broken core to Cedric's working desk.

" ok, here your reward for the quest " Cedric said and also put down the 10 copper coin reward.

" thank you " I picked to coins and head towards Margaret.

" let's go now Alex " Margaret said and start to walk towards the exit.

While she's near into the exit she stopped and said.

" Cedric we.... that thing is always watching you " Margaret talked as if a warning for Cedric. but Cedric just smiled and didn't replied at all to those words.

And Margaret and I head out to Cedric's room.
