The dark abyss was comforting. Many argued on what death may feel like?

Was it in an encompassing holy land with your family? Or was it a barren wasteland filled with devils out for your blood?

Arturia too, in her childhood, believed death as a closure to god. After all, her entire life was either living in fear of something or outright killing something. There were no exceptions to it.

Scummy it may be, an ideal, just doesn't justify the wrongdoings of a person. She knew it but still, she insisted on continuing this path.

'The sword of stone' A prophecy told by the fabled wizard of the court.

'In the end, was it even worth it, Merlin?' A stupid prophecy dictating her entire life. Morgana would never have turned out to become this kind of person if the prophecy was never told.

From then she stopped being human. A shining radiant sent forth by God to help the poor people of Britain. Then again, it turned out to be a farce by that philandering wizard to just gaze at his own death.

Her knights sometimes hiding from her, called her by a pet name.

'A doll, huh' She now had the time of her life. Alone in this pitiful dark abyss with nothing to console her mind.

This useless informations filled her time. Still, their duality was laughable. At one point, they condone her actions but when it suits their agenda they stand by her as her loyal knight.

Though she was thankful for them standing for her till the end.

Again it went quiet. The silence was maddening.

Being surrounded by people all her life made this place even more grating.

She thought of bringing salvation to her nation.

How pathetic...

It wasn't salvation that led to its end...it was pride.

Pride as the child of Uther Pendragon, the pride of being the strongest knight...pride of killing others without a change of expression in her face.

This pride too led her to her perpetual state of existence.

What if she never showed pride, then? The answer to this question came to her before anything.

"Then I would have nothing left" Seeing no one around in this abyssal silence even her own voice felt comforting.

Then again the face of one individual flashed in her mind.

Ainz Owl Gown.

Was he a god? A mage? or was he a knight?

She, till now could not figure him out. It was a mystery she indulged on her new life.

Observing him from the compound, trying to learn from his action to be more approachable

'Arturia you should smile more' those simple words made her embarrassed.

To hide it she rebuked him and tried to dismiss the topic.

Again, she thought 'what would Ainz be thinking now?'

A fallen love it was. Confessing just before dying, Arturia felt as if she wronged him.

Then, again a what if always stands in her mind, whispering to her ears,

'In a different time if she had confessed earlier would they be having kids now?'

She always wanted some...after all, the women in her, was always there, just suppressed.

These suppressed feelings were again bringing her to the edge.

She had nothing even in the end.

No children, no family only him.

"ah..." unconsciously a small drop of tear trickled from her eye.

What was the point of even saving Britain?

What was the point of this life anyway?

The next time, Arturia meets him. She would be sure to take his virginity.

A promise that she would keep.

Making this pledge, her new goal, brought a small smile onto her face. A tinge of happiness on her mind.

Maybe she was losing it? Then again was she even sane from the beginning?

'Declaring war against them altogether maybe was a bad idea'

There must have been something wrong in her head to even provoke them. But then their expression at the end was well worth it.

Arturia always wanted a dragon and maybe it again her pride jumping up and down to go through it. However, now, she had a plan if she comes back that is.

Suddenly, her body felt light. She felt herself in a comfortable embrace of bones.

It would have been horrifying but for someone who lived among them, it was comforting.

And so she closed her eyes in remorse and let herself get swept by it.

In its embrace, the once king of Britain laid to rest in anticipation of a new dream where she would once again be one with him...

Exams are done so there would be frequent updates and let me know if there are any mistakes or share ideas for the series and the plot holes you may find. Thanks for reading:)
