(A/N: In one of the previous chapters (where Godrick fights Karna, and Achilles) I raised Godricks Endurance Stat to EX+ and gave the explanation that he would become immune to damage for a short time if he was hit with 3 or more A rank Noble Phantasms. I'm going to be changing that in this chapter. I just felt like it was random, and was wanting to change it. So in this chapter I did.
Thank you all, and I hope you enjoy the chapter!)
===Godrick===
"I am, and I'd say the feelings are mutual." Jeanne said with a dazzling smile.
Godricks eyes widened as she said that, and he looked at her with a smile growing on his face. Jeanne just winked at him before turning back to his mother, helping her stand back up after regaining her strength after the curse had been dealt with.
"Tell us more about what happened? What do you mean Lancer took her? Who are you talking about?" Jeanne asked.
"Lancer showed up just moments after you left, and told me he was taking Rin. we fought, but…" She paused, and lowered her head in shame as she continued.
"I-... I lost." She said quietly.
"Hey," Jeanne said in a soft tone, pulling Artoria into a kind of side hug, rubbing the Sabers right arm with her right hand comfortingly.
"We all lose sometimes." Jeanne said quietly.
"Godrick," Artoria said, looking back up at her son. "We have to go after her."
"No shit Sherlock," Godrick signed, confusing Artoria a bit as she didn't understand profanitys in sign language. Jeanne hid a small smile and turned her head away from Artoria.
"What? What did he just say?" Artoria asked, nudging Jeanne.
"Oh, it's nothing." Jeanne said.
"He just swore, didn't he? You know what Godrick, I should have never let you train under Lancelot, he taught you to have a foul mouth, and no matter how much I tried to beat it out of you, he still prevailed." She said.
Godrick grinned as he placed his hands on his hips, feeling his body finish adapting to EA.
Jeanne looked at him, and read some of the new abilities he had gained from this new ordeal.
Strength: A+
Endurance: EX+
Agility: A
Mana: E
Luck: C
NP: Ex
The + for his A+ Strength, was if he sacrificed all his stats in his self detonation, his strength would evolve into EX, but still give the effect as if it had been sacrificed to E with all other stats.
The + for his EX+ Endurance, was if he was hit with a Noble Phantasm that would outright kill him, he would survive with minimal health, and would be subject to death with the next attack.
He was now completely immune to any attack below the rank of B, and any Noble Phantasm under the rank of A.
He also gained a special new Ability.
Indomitability- Rank EX- Evolved from Battle continuation.
This skill allows the possessor to weather any storm.
If Godrick had this skill when facing EA, he would have been able to walk through it's destructive beam as if it weren't even there. He would still take the damage, but he wouldn't feel it, allowing him to fight even if he were dying.
Jeannes eyes widened, as she could see what he had gained.
"Impressive." She said to herself.
===Rin===
"Put me down!" Rin said sharply to her captor.
Lancer actually complied with her order, and placed her on the ground, allowing her to walk by herself.
She stood there dumbfounded before glancing up at Lancer.
"What?" He asked.
"You just… put me down?" She asked in a confused voice.
"Well yeah. You asked, so I did. I don't wanna have to carry you the whole way there." He answered nonchalantly.
"What if I run away?" She asked.
Laughter filled the air as Lancer raised his head to the sky.
"You can, but I rather you didn't, as I'll have to chase you down, and carry you the rest of the way." He said with a predatory smile.
Rin just huffed to herself as she followed Lancer, letting him walk in front of her as she prepared to make a break for it.
Suddenly, Magical Circuits filled her legs and she took off at a sprint in the opposite direction. As she ran, she chanced a glance behind her, but she didn't see Lancer anywhere.
She suddenly tripped on something hard and fell to the dirt ground covered in fallen leaves.
She gave a small grunt as she peeled her face from the ground and looked to her right, seeing Lancer there laying on the ground next to her.
He was on his side facing her, his left hand holding the spear she had tripped on, while his right hand held his head up from the ground.
"So, you did a bad thing." He said in a playful voice.
"Now I'm gonna have to carry you." He said, standing up.
She didn't make it easy for him, making herself deadweight for him to pick up and sling over his shoulder. But in reality, it didn't bother him in the slightest.
Soon, she placed her elbow on his back and held her head up as she started to speak.
"You know, that was a cheap move you pulled on Saber back there."
Lancer stopped in his tracks, and tightened his grip on his spear.
"I know. But my Master's order was clear. I couldn't have beaten her as she was then." He said in a stiff tone.
"Man," Rin said, "This Master of yours must be a real piece of work." She finished.
"You have no idea." Lancer said, finally arriving at the house they had been traveling to.
He took Rin into it, and placed her in a chair to which he tied her.
"Is this really necessary?" She asked
"I don't think so, but orders are orders." Lancer responded.
"Oh, it's completely necessary." A new voice broke the silence.
"No-" Rin said before she was violently slapped across the face.
Shinji slapped her again before kneeling next to her.
"You treated me like nothing more than dirt on your shoe when rider died. You SHOT AT ME!" He started screaming before viciously hitting Rin a few more times.
Lancer was rooted to the spot, having been commanded to let this little Bitch do anything he wanted to Rin.
His brow twitched as he watched Shinji assault Rin, unable to do anything about it.
After a minute, Shinji collected himself and ran a hand through his unkempt blue hair.
Rin's head was leaning to one side as blood leaked from her nose and mouth. She slowly looked back at Shinji and whispered something.
"What was that?" Shinji asked, getting a bit closer to the girl.
Rin gathered all the blood and spit in her mouth, and spat it directly into Shinji's eyes, making him rear back and scream shrilly.
He fell backwards on his back, clawing at his face in an attempt to get the spit out of his eyes.
"I said you're a little bitch, take these ropes off and I'll prove it!" Rin shouted angrily.
Shinji got back up to his feet with a snarl, and gave Rin a right haymaker which sent her to the ground to her right. He then stomped on her head once before Lancer opened his mouth.
"I have to agree with the little lady. You are a little bitch."
"EXCUSE ME?" Shinji screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Oh do you want me to say it again? Alright, I said you're a little bitch." Lancer repeated, glad that Shinji had turned his anger towards himself, and forgetting Rin.
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME, I AM YOUR BETTER!" Shinji shrieked, hitting Lancer in the face with another right punch.
He suddenly screamed and held his hand in pain, recoiling from Lancers chiseled jawline.
"My, my, how noisy." A new voice said as a man entered the basement floor.
He was dressed in a long dark coat, and wore black clothes under it. He had a medium sized golden cross on his chest, and a smile on his face as he looked down at Rin.
Hello Rin, how are you?" Kirei Kotomine said in a pleased tone of voice. Rin made no reply as she tried to struggle out of her bindings that kept her on the floor.
"You bastard, you're the one behind all this aren't you!" She said, struggling harder.
"This, and more." He said, turning from her and walking towards Lancer.
"Your performance left much to be desired. You may leave now, and do not disturb us." He said shortly.
"Or, you can watch from spirit form." He said sadistically.
Lancers face hardened at his master, and he wished for nothing more than to kill him in that moment, but his master had used a Command Seal to prevent that exact outcome.
"I would rather you not touch the little miss over there." Lancer said through gritted teeth.
"I know you would, which is why I think I'll change things up a bit." Kirei said as he raised the cuff of his sleeve on his right arm, showing the multiple Command Seal he had.
"You will stay, and watch." He said, a flash of red sealing his order.
Lancers clenched his teeth in anger, his eyes hardening at his master as they looked at each other.
"I swear, you'll die this day. By my hand, or another's, but you will die a most painful death." Lancer got out. Kirei just smiled as he turned around to start his interrogation of Rin, hoisting her by her throat to set her down back on the ground before he began to speak.
"You have caused me much trouble. How did you do it? How did you entice the Juggernaut to become your servant?" He asked, bending over and placing his hands on the arms of her chair where her own arms were strapped.
She felt uncomfortable with his weight bearing down on her arms, but it didn't stop her from laughing at him.
His eyes narrowed, as he didn't like to be laughed out.
He suddenly reached up, and slapped Rin hard across the face, silencing her laughter.
Her head hung to the right for a moment before she leaned her head back and shook the hair out of her face. Her face was now bruised, and fresh blood leaked from her broken lip, and bloody nose.
She was breathing heavily, and her lips began to tremble as her treatment.
Lancers grip on his spear tightened as he had no choice but to watch.
Shinji had gone quite the moment the priest had entered the room, and now hid in one of the corners watching everything happen.
Kirei grabbed Rin by her throat and squeezed as he continued speaking.
"I do not appreciate being mocked. Now answer my question." He said releasing her.
She took a few deep breaths before she began to speak once more.
"I don't know what you're talking about. He isn't my servant at all. He is an independent entity. I thought you knew that when you first saw him at the church" She responded.
"I thought that as well," Kirei retorted. "His only purpose was to hunt down the rogue servant, then disappear. He shouldn't interfere in the Holy Grail War. And now he is going around fighting with the other servants for you and the red hair brat, why would he do that if he wasn't your servant?" He asked venomously.
"Maybe because he has something, or someone he is fighting for. Maybe another servant perhaps?" She answered cryptically.
Another slap rang out, and the left side of Rin's face began to swell.
"Hey, don't hurt her much, I still want to have some fun with her!" Shinji said, running up and looking up at Kirei.
"You will get what's left. Don't worry, she will still be alive as we need her for the ritual. But until then…" He stopped and turned to Lancer, who was visibly shaking in rage.
"What's wrong Lancer? Feeling helpless?" He mocked.
"You're going to die so slowly, I swear!" Lancer forced out.
Ignoring his servant, Kirei turned back to Rin, who had tears welling in her eyes.
"At least you lasted longer than your father." He said with an evil smile, revealing he was the one to kill Tokiomi Tohsaka.
Rin's eyes widened, and her tears started running down her face as she learned the truth.
"No-" She said, shaking her head.
"Oh yes. Bled like a pig as he writhed on the ground. But don't worry, you will see him soon. I promise." Kirei said, gently caressing the bound girl's face.
"That will be enough for now. Shinji," He called out to the young man who perked up.
"She's yours for the time being. Do what you want, you won't get a second chance." He said, standing up and walking to a desk which held books and tomes of every shape and size.
"Gods, finally!" Shinji said, running back over to Rin.
"Oh, we're going to have so much fun." He sneered, caressing Rins thigh.
She visibly shuttered as he ran his tongue over his lips, and started inching his way up to her skirt.
"You sick freak!" Rin screamed, kicking out with her leg, straight into Shinji's groin.
He let out a gasp, and fell back to the ground, gripping his nether region.
"You stupid Bitch!" He shrieked, getting back up and hitting her again, and again. The abuse continued for a couple more minutes until he smashed his fist squarely in her face sending her crashing backwards.
He got on top of her and placed his hands around her throat and began to squeeze as hard as he could, hoping to choke the life from her.
She struggled and fought as much as she could, but it was to no avail.
"You know, why can't you be more like Sakura?" He asked between gritted teeth.
"She never fights me this much!" He said.
Rin's eyes bulged as she began to convulse, her voice coming in choking cries.
"La-cer" She whispered.
With all his might Cu Chulainn fought against the control of his master. He couldn't hurt either of them… But maybe.
He picked his spear up, and held it limply in his hand before throwing it backwards against the wall.
The throw was hard enough to make the spear bounce off the wall behind him, and shoot towards Shinji's right shoulder.
The spear stabbed him in the right shoulder, but it soon fell from the young man as shock took over, and he stood up.
He let out a shrill scream, and held his shoulder as he tossed himself across the room.
Kirei looked up from his desk at Lancer with an angry expression before he spoke.
"I see I wasn't clear enough with my orders. You are to stand there, and do absolutely nothing until I order you differently." He said before another red flash came from his arm.
Having dealt with his servant, he turned to Shinji and tried to calm the raging boy, but he wasn't having any of it.
"You piece of SHIT" "Stabbed me in the arm!" "Going to die!" He was screaming incoherently before turning and running up the stairs before he was suddenly kicked back down them.
He came crashing back down the stairs and stopped at the bottom, still screaming. Three figures came down the stairs, led by a massive knight in full plate armor. The other two were women, one of which quickly ran over to Rin.
"Rin!" Artoria shouted, holding her master in her arms after snapping the ropes holding her.
"Sa-ber-" Rin choked out, the bruising around her throat already showing itself.
Jeanne quickly ran over to her as well, and began doing what she could to help heal her servant.
Godrick looked around the room, seeing Lancer in the corner of the room, standing as still as a statue, only his eyes moving. Their eyes locked together, and a silent understanding passed between them.
The Juggernaut looked down at the young man at his feet, having heard about him from Shirou and Rin when they discussed Riders death.
Looking to Rin, Godrick observed her condition, and assumed that this little bastard was the one to do this to her.
So Godrick did to him what he does to little bastards that piss him off.
Reaching down, Godrick grabbed the young man by both wrists before picking him up.
"Wha- WHAT ARE YOU DO- DOING?" Shinji shrieked in fear.
Godrick pulled in two different directions, eliciting another scream of pain from the young man.
"NO- NO- ST- STOOOOOP!!!" Shinji screeched, but it fell on deaf ears.
The right shoulder popped first, coming from the shoulder and putting all the weight on Shinji's left arm.
His right arm was stretched from his torso before flesh ripped, tendons snapped, bones broke, and the arm was ripped away from the young man.
Godrick dropped the arm, then Shinji to the ground and looked towards Jeanne.
"It's always the right arm that pops first, never the left." He signed at her.
She just frowned at the gruesome display. "How many arms have you ripped from people?" She asked.
"I am not going to answer that." He signed back to her.
Shinji rolled around on the ground screaming, holding the bloody mess that was his right shoulder, tears streaming down his face.
"Take one of his legs." A small voice said.
Everyone turned to Rin in surprise as she looked over to Shinji from Artoria's arms.
"I said take one of his damn legs, Godrick. He's been abusing Sakura for years. He needs to suffer for it!" She said through gritted teeth.
The Juggernaut, not one to turn down a request from someone he considered an acquaintance, if not a friend, reached down and picked Shinji up by his right foot.
He grabbed the left and did the same process as with his arms. Bones breaking, and screams of agony filled the room and the Juggernaut dropped the freshly torn off leg to the ground.
He dropped the young man on the ground and left him in his agony for a couple minutes, letting Rin listen to his screams before picking him back up.
He flipped Shinji over in his left hand so he was now looking at his face, and brought his right fist up to smash Shinji's skull.
"Truck-kun?" Shinji got out before Godrick threw his right fist into the young man's face, completely obliterating his head.
Dropping the corpse, Godrick turned to the other figure in the room, and gazed at the priest as he sat at his desk, fear flickering in his eyes.
"Him as well Godrick. But just his arms. I want to kill the bastard myself." Rin said coldly.
