Chapter 5 - Attack

Colette's POV

I got out the car and kissed Derek goodbye, "see you at lunch" he nodded and I walked into the school. I went to my locker, I grabbed my books and closed the locker to be meeted by a girl who seemed pretty confident in herself. "Colette right?" I nodded, confused that she was talking to someone she didn't know and someone who is blind. "I love your outfit! All the boys are going to fawn over you if you always dress that nice." She thought I would like the ideas of boys near me, trust me, I didn't.

"Sorry, I'm not single" I moved passed the girl but she followed me. "Want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?" I smiled at her. "Love to-" She interrupted me,"Lydia" I nodded, "see you at lunch Lydia" I waved at her as she walked off. I walked around for a while, trying to find the classroom NY memory. I failed miserably and tried to find anybody walking around me. I had to focus on my senses to feel peopem around me. I tapped somebody on the shoulder, it was a male with a horribly scented cologne.

"Excuse me, could you please help me find Mr Harris' classroom?" The boy was smug and definitely arrogant. "And who are you talking to me?" I couldn't help but quietly growl at him. "Colette, who are you?" I could tell he smirked at me. "Doesnt matter, find the classroom yourself." As he turned around I dug my claws into his shoulder, not deep enough to turn him, but deep enough to cause him pain. "Where is the classroom?" He told me the directions to the chemistry lab and I followed them to a wooden door with a glass window.

I slowly opened the door and took in ten scent of the room, ot smelt like chemicals and teenagers. The oldest male turned towards me. "Who are you and why are you late?" I hadn't been to this teacher's class before. "Colette Mable, I'm the new student. I couldn't find my way here?" I could sense that he raised an eyebrow at me. "Couldn't find your way here for forty-five minutes?" I nodded and him and the entire class burst out laughing, except Isaac, Erica, Scott and Stiles.

"Why is that so?" I was about to answer the irritating teacher when Isaac spoke up for me. "Your lucky she even found her way here, she's blind Me Harris." The whole room fell silent. "Go and sit next to Mr Lahey" I nodded and followed Isaac's scent to the seat next to him. "Thanks" I said as the teacher carried on the lesson. "Miss Mable do you know the answer ot this question?" He hadn't said the question before he asked me so I had no way of knowing.

"Um I can't, I don't know the question?" He sighed and muttered, "this is why we have schools for children with disabilities." I wanted to punch him. "Just for your information, I'm not disabled, I'm blind. And I'm going to show you just how much vision a blind girl can have." I said before storming out the classroom. On my way towards the exit to the school, I accidentally ran into somebody. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I apologised, reaching down to the floor to get the books they had dropped.

"Oh it's ok, it's my fault" It was a girl, probably in the same year as me. "What did Mr Harris say to get you so wound up?" I sighed and gave her books back to her. "Nothing, he just really knows how to push my buttons. And you are?" She seemed happier now. "Sydney" I shook her hand, "Well I hope to see you around Sydney" I smiled at he before going back to my locker and dropped off my books. I closed it and was met with someone standing beside me.

"Its not that hard to believe that Harri is still here, nobody liked him when I was here" I instantly knew it was Derek, "What are you doing here?" I can tell he smirked at me. "No hello to your extremely handsome mate?" I kissed his cheek and pulled him out the school. "Change of plans, we are going to attack earlier than we said." I nodded and we went home to get changed. Derek wore his usual leather jacket and t-shirt, while I changed into a leather jacket, black t-shirt, black skinny Jean's and dark boots.

We finished getting changed and we got into Derek's car. We knew exactly where the Alpha Pack were hiding out. They had started hiding inside the old abandoned bank in the centre of Beacon Hills. We arrived at the bank and made sure to be as silent as possible, the old rotted doors shut amde it easier to enter. We creeped in through the side entrance and waited for a sound or a sign they knew where we were. "You know we need to move it, the mated Alphas are coming after it and I don't want to be here when they do!"

It was Kali, she hadn't been smart enough to realise that we had already got there. "Kali,Kali,Kali we know they will come for it soon, you know that. I know it must be moved soon, they will come for it but they will fail. We can't let them get it back, but they will fail. They won't have brought their pack, you know we have their secret they kept from everybody. If we tell the rest of their pack, they will loose their trust in their Alphas. Turning their own pack against them, that would be satisfying."

"One of them is blind! We can easily take them!" Deaucalion seemed confident in himself. "She'll show you how much vision a blind girl can have." Kali huffed and walked off. Throughout this entire attack we are going to use the mind-link to communicate.

Okay, 1 2 3 GO!

As soon as I heard Go I ran off towards the room next to Deaucalion, Derek was going to distract him. "Ahh we've been waiting for you, Derek and you Colette." I stopped dead in my tracks, how do they know me?! "The mated Alpha pair, extremely powerful from what I've heard. You're after it arent you? That's why you're here?" I nodded towards him and jumped onto his back. He pushed me off but not before I scratched straight down his back, the wounds bleeding before they could heal.

"Hey! Over here you slimy old mutt!" It was Isaac, what the hell is he doing here?! "Isaac!" I yelled, turning my back to Deaucalion, wrong move. I felt my shoulder being scratched and stabbed with claws. "AHH!" I screamed, falling to the floor. I could hear Derek struggling to fight. A loud howl came from inside the building, making an echo bounce off the walls. I caught familiar scents, it was my pack and....Scott?! Allison was here to, presumably standing by Scott.

"What ar you doing here?!" Derek yelled towards the rest of the pack joining in. "We could tell you were planning something, but going after the Alpha Pack on your own! That's just a bit far fetched don't you think." I growled at Stiles, once I realised it was him who said it. "We had reasons!" I snapped. "Just get out of here!" Allison yelled, trying to lift me off the ground. "NO!" I thrashed and cried for her to let me go. I wasnt strong enough to try and get away from her. "Derek!" I cried out, finally knocking over Allison to get out of her grip.

I got to the iron door and used all my strength to knock it down. Yes I had already tried the lock. The pack finally had Deaucalion on the ground and his pack was nowhere to be seen. We knocked him out and everybody gathered around the door. "So, what did we almost die fighting for?" I slapped Isaac upside the head. "Ow!" He rubbed his neck while Derek wrapped his arms around me, careful not to touch my shoulder. Before we entered the room I turned back to everybody. "Before we go in there, I want to remind you that we keep secrets for reasons. Not because we don't trust you. Because we do" The pack looked extremely confused at us.

We all ran into the door at once causing it to open...
