At this point, the entirety of the raid team had reached the last section of the Dark End Staircase. However, this also proved to be the most tiresome wave of them all. Not only did the number increase exponentially, but it also possessed all of the levels of Nightmares ranging from grey-eyed Nightmares to their silver-eyed counterparts.

Of course, Kaiden remained curious, 'Why has this entire staircase been limited to just the silver and lower level Nightmares? Are the no more golden-eyed Nightmare within it? Or perhaps… Terrors and such are a special rank of the Nightmares? Nevertheless, we'll find out as we keep advancing. 

Pooling Sword Force into Genesis, he swept it horizontally as an «Illusive Sword Torrent» billowed forward. Multiple grey-eyed Nightmares disappeared under its onslaught. Furthermore, after leaving his members to their own devices, he noticed their mindstates being strengthened by going up against the Nightmares.
