Maturing the Gates (1 of 2)

"These Gates should be able to increase my combat ability during this period of weakness," determined Kaiden as he summoned a copious amount of Sustenance Crystals. However, although the floor was littered with such crystals, they only totaled up to 100. This was the limit of daily intake and summoning anymore wouldn't have any effect. 

Closing his eyes and removing his thoughts, Kaiden sensed the place of his Gates. Within a short moment, the essence of his body began redirecting to the Gates. However, as his level began dropping his eyes opened once again as he was interrupted by the timely system message.
