While urging the Energy between his palms to propagate, the atmosphere surrounding the Nightmares became increasingly worse. The cracks in the dark veins spread to their skin, as ghastly fumes began emanating from it. Thin clouds of darkness soon pervaded the environment as Kaiden frowned. 

At the same time, the other raid participants began moving with alarm. A majority of the people here possessed a Sphere of Influence, therefore, they also boasted keen sense. Unfortunately, while they sensed danger, they were unable to ascertain exactly what type of danger it was.

Naturally, that wasn't the case for Kaiden. Unlike the others, he possessed both knowledge and Genesis. Hence, his quick actions. Only, the speed of his actions paled in comparison to the pace in which the dark cracks were spreading across the Nightmares.
