Chapter 1

Fara had gotten out of her best friend, Nathan's, car and headed towards the quiet boy in the corner. Everyone else was too rowdy and he had the right vibes.

"Hey, I'm Fara", she said as she took a hit off her nic

"Hi", he seemed shy

"You want a hit?", she offered

He shook his head.

This boy she had just met and not even had a conversation with made her heart bubble.

Love, at first sight.

As the clock ticked, she needed to head back to the school so she wasn't late for class. Fara couldn't stop thinking about him, she sat and daydreamed in class and when she got home, she screamed along to the lyrics of "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne, imagining she was talking to him. She didn't really talk to him much since that day, the only interactions she had with him were in the hallways at school, just a quick "hey" as the dabbed each other up.
