New Blood: "Welcome to Fantasye Online. You find yourself in a new world full of adventure and discovery. Enjoy yourself and make new friends with the new players and the old aboriginals*. Remember that this world follows new rules, largely the Might Makes Right power hierarchy. Always remember that rules are different here, and not everything is always as it seems. And the most important rule, have fun!"

CIP Yes: "You have increased character resonance due to taking the CIP (Character Identification Procedure) and thus have the opportunity to enable greater sensory levels. Greater levels increase your senses while in the game (general feeling, taste, smell, pain, pleasure etc.). Additionally, the higher sensory levels give buffs to connectivity and response speed between you and your character, exp gain bonuses, and percentage stat increases. A full list of your choices as well as their buffs is below:

25 Sensory Level (Current) Feel everything (including taste, smell and pain) at 25% what the normal human would feel (for example, if you got slapped in real life, a replicated slap in this would be felt at 25% of what it would feel in real life.)

25 Sensory Level Buffs: None

50 Sensory Level (Select) Feel everything (including taste, smell and pain) at 50% what the normal human would feel (for example, if you got slapped in real life, a replicated slap in this would be felt at 50% of what it would feel in real life.)

50 Sensory Level Buffs:

Connectivity increased from base level by 25%

Response speed increased from base level by 25%

exp gain increased by 10%

75 Sensory Level (Select) {a/n imagine all the text copy pasted from above if you want, didn't want to do it to irritate readers} (…75% what the normal human would feel… blah blah blah… 75% what it would feel in real life.)

75 Sensory Level Buffs

Connectivity increased from base level by 50%

Response speed increased from base level by 50%

exp gain increased by 25%

100 Sensory Level (Select) WARNING: THIS SETTING CAN PSYCHOLOGICALLY HARM. DO NOT USE THIS SETTING UNLESS ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN YOU WANT TO. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DERIVED FROM OUR GAME. IN SELECTING THIS SETTING, YOU PUT YOURSELF 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES AND ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING POLICY: warning policy

This setting does not change the level of feeling from real life. If you get stabbed by a sword with this setting enabled, it will feel the same as if you got stabbed in real life. This setting is not for the weak of heart. Only select this setting if you are absolutely certain you want it on. You can change this setting to lower it, but you cannot switch it back to 100%. This is the one and only time you can select this setting. You have been warned.

100 Sensory Level Buffs:

Connectivity between player and character set to 100%

Response speed between player and character set to 100%

exp gain increased by 75%

All stats (including special stats) increased by 15%

Myst read through it carefully, especially the last part which was in full caps. 'Well, they certainly made it clear with their warnings' he thought to himself. He carefully thought about it, and checked through the warning policy. It said much of what was stated in full caps, but simply went further into detail and ensured that anything that happened to the player from selecting this setting was entirely on the player. He then thought about it a bit more, and made his selection.

*Aboriginals is used in this instance to mean an individual living in a land before the arrival of new peoples or colonists.

{a/n Ok. Second chapter out now. I'm gonna chuck one more on then do some uni stuff. Feel free to comment and stuff, as I said in the previous chapter (feel free to not care about what I'm saying if you don't care) I'm happy to take criticism and stuff or have a nice polite conversation. Yelling matches are less my style but if that's what you want who am I to complain. Happy reading!}
