Elian's hand dropped to his side as he observed them conversing in hushed tones. He couldn't hear their discussion, but it was evident that whatever they were talking about was serious.

Azrael noticed the change in Elian's demeanor and glanced at him. "What's wrong?" he asked, keeping his voice low.

Elian didn't take his eyes off Silas and Gabriel. "It's probably nothing, just... Silas has been acting strangely lately."

Azrael shrugged slightly. "He has always been like that," he said. "Very quiet and distant from the rest, except when he loses his temper, which is rare. That night was an exception, but it was still understandable."

Elian turned to Azrael. "I know that," he said in a hushed tone. "But it's different this time. Ever since you arrived, he has been acting even stranger. I don't usually have a problem with him, but you are my big brother, so, of course, I am on your side."
