Coming of the End

In the void, where time and space were non-existent, a colossal Crimson eastern dragon with a sword-like head floated, coiled upon itself like yarn. Hidden between its folds, a smaller light blue eastern dragon with green and pink markings lay protected by the larger, sun-sized dragon.

The mighty Crimson dragon, a being of immense power, remained motionless. He casually observed the Earth of Cyberpunk Edgrunner, ever waiting.

The void was uneventful, yet he stood sentinel, controlling his proxy as if playing a video game. One moment he was alone; the next, a man in a yellow suit and top hat stood beside him.

"What are you doing, Dear nephew of mine?"

The man inquired, adjusting his suit jacket.

"Controlling my proxy body."

Replied the Crimson dragon, glancing at the man and recognizing him as no mere mortal.

"Uncle Nyarlathotep."

He acknowledged with a nod.

"Six."

Nyarlathotep declared, grinning.

"Oh, what game are you playing now?"

"In Cyberpunk Edgerunners, people die regularly."

The Crimson Dragon stated, returning to his game.

"I thought they were always dying, humans and such."

Nyarlathotep remarked with a curious tone.

"And yet, I must play to entertain our family... as always."

"Nephew you sound dreadfully boring. What do you plan to do with that world?"

Nyarlathotep inquired, his face showing mild perplexity.

"Nothing at the moment, but the world may prove useful in the future. Despite its many flaws, it could still be of value."

Six explained, turning back to the omnipotent Lovecraftian Outer God.

"Are you going to try to save it like the other or add it to your collection?"

"What do you call that thing again?... Ah, right! You call it Maethrillian."

Mentioned the Outer God showing a ferocious smile.

"I can see that; humans are indeed very malleable. I've toyed with them myself occasionally. However, I've learned that they prefer to be 'asked' to do things,"

The Lovecraftian Outer God imparted as if sharing profound wisdom.

"What do you mean, uncle... ask others to carry out my tasks?"

The Crimson Dragon Outer God pondered, as if the idea had never occurred to him.

"Yes, you see, if you convince them that it's their own ideas guiding them, they won't realize they are being manipulated to follow your will. They won't resist because they won't feel controlled."

Nyarlathotep explained as he gazed upon Earth where Six's proxy resided. It was so insignificant compared to the vastness of space, yet humans originated there, and there they would become extinct. No matter how hard they tried, their deatg was inevitable.

"Why do you think these insignificant humans could possibly challenge a god like me?"

Six inquired, clearly offended.

"Oh, they won't triumph; they seldom do. But it's troublesome to make one comply without resistance. That, however, can be part of the amusement. So Dear nephew, why not make your own gamers."

Nyarlathotep smirked, recalling how he did the same with him without opposing him.

"Do the other Outer Gods know of your presence here?"

Six asked, shifting the topic.

"No, they ceased dictating my actions some time ago. They do not wish for me to attempt awakening Grandfather again."

Nyarlathotep replied, chuckling.

"I shall ponder your words. For now, I must engage in my play," Death declared, then gestured dismissively at the man.

"Until later, then."

As Nyarlathotep began to vanish, he glimpsed the vision of a building erupting in flames, his grin broadening at the thought of still influencing his favored nephew, despite the risk to his own daughter.

Yet, he was unconcerned, for it was merely her proxy that suffered harm, while her true form remained safeguarded by Six.

"Damn it, that swindler must be behind this."

Atop one of the many skyscrapers in Corpo Plaza, Boone was concealed by a stealth field, observing as a member of Maine's crew attempted to flee after detonating a high-yield bomb where Six and his wife Rebecca were enjoying a romantic dinner. Boone took aim and shot, incapacitating the teenager by blowing his left leg.

"Perpetrator's leg incapacitated, request pickup near the building's garage."

Boone reported to their forces, now watching as his boss Six's body regenerated, and to his astonishment, Rebecca's body was also reconstructing.

"Six reporting. Initiate plan Exudes. Ensure completion within two hours!"

After issuing the command, Six ended the communication, prompting Boone to quickly board his AV and gather his girls. Shortly, he arrived at Afterlife and encountered the entirety of Maine's crew: Maine, Dorio, Pilar, Falco, and finally, Lucy and Kiwi—the girls he had been intimate with in this world.

"Eeep!"

Without warning, he hoists them both onto his shoulder.

"Lucy, Kiwi, we need to leave within an hour, or you will all die,"

Boone declares, startling Lucy, Kiwi, and everyone in the bar.

"Boone, might you care to explain why you're abducting members of my crew, or you'll compel us to intervene?"

Maine demands, with the rest of his crew standing behind him. Boone, however, isn't paying attention, as he is absorbed in the interrogators' report.

"Alright, then! Here's what happened: Your dumbass of a teammate, David Martinez, attempted to assassinate boss Six."

"What!"

exclaimed the entire crew in shock.

"Hey Boony, you're joking, right? David can't be that foolish."

Lucy remarked from Boone's shoulder.

"Hahaha! Lucy, you must be joking, right? That kid has never liked the Bossman or Boone since the day he met them. I'm just surprised he didn't pull something like this sooner."

Pilar said, struggling to hold back his laughter.

"Okay, guys, it's time to stop the jokes. We have less than two hours if we want to survive. I'm taking Lucy and Kiwi with me because Six is done with this place and plans to make it vanish by the set time."

"If you want to live, come with me. My AV has enough space to get us out of here. I'm only offering this because you're friends with Kiwi Lucy and Sasha, who are carrying my unborn children. And don't worry about Sasha or Rebecca; they've already been evacuated."

Boone declared as he headed towards his Autonomous Vehicle (AV).

Shortly after, they reached the evacuation point.

"Ah Boone, I don't want to be that guy, but we're at Corpo Plaza, at your boss's tower. I thought you were taking us out of the city because Six was going to blow up the place, right?"

Said Main.

"Oh no, you guys misunderstood me. He's not going to blow up the city."

Boone clarified, and they all exhaled in relief.

"He's going to destroy the entire world."

Boone added as he led them to the building's evacuation point, which was eerily quiet since the building appeared abandoned. Upon reaching the evacuation point, they were greeted by a portal-like opening in space.

"Okay, good where the last ones are here. Once we cross this portal, there's no coming back, as it will close behind us immediately."

"But Boone, can't we just flee to another city? I know your boss is powerful, and he might be able to destroy Night City. But I'm skeptical he can destroy the world."

Maine asked as everyone of them had questions doubting Boone. To which Boone sends them all a live video of a monster like serpent, as It's destroying every single planet its way while heading to earth. 

"Okay, you guys have less than twenty minutes. By that time, the portal is going to close, and Six is going to be visible in the sky."

"What do you mean, Six is going to be visible in the sky?"

Came the reply from almost everyone in the crew.

"Alright, we haven't told you guys. Ok here's the thing, most of us aren't human. That giant dragon monster heading this way. That's the true body of Six. I can also have a similar dragon form, except mines much smaller and manageable."

With all them being in a partial state of shocked they all crossed the portal, escaping their deaths.
