Max didn't reveal much when he returned to Ivy's room. Claiming it to be some work-related matter, he brushed it off lightly and joined their conversation.
The group stayed for more than an hour before deciding to leave. After all, it was close to dinner time, and Max had a lot to do now that he had an explosive piece of news.
"We'll see you again, Ivy. Take care." Sasha hugged Ivy, rendering Ivy helpless against her passion.
Sasha was an emotional person, more than anyone else in the group. So, she was reduced to tears after seeing her best friend's state. Now that Ivy was fine and recovering well, she felt better and relieved.
Ivy patted her back and consoled her while glancing at the other three. They were watching the exchange with faint smiles on their faces.
Finally, after a few seconds, Sasha let go of Ivy.
"Now, listen to me carefully, Ivy." Sasha looked at her seriously and Ivy quirked her brows questioningly.
