Chapter 15: ALL THESE CANDY

"I don't think there would be too much pressure on her once the fans see how good she is. Originally, a friend of mine was supposed to replace god Ming but something happened and she was chosen. None of us have seen her play in reality" Jordy said and paused when he heard gasps from the crowd

"Do you mean you don't know how well she plays?" The announcer asked

"No. I have seen videos sent to me by her friends without her consent and I have seen how well she plays. She is better at playing than any of the other guys out there. I have full confidence that she would lead us to victory. She has all the characteristics that we look out for in our players. She's good, confident, proud and so much more. I believe in her and I think you should too" Jordy rounded up and received a round of applause from the cheering crowd

"I think you've answered all our questions. Thank you for coming" the announcer said before declaring a break before the lucky draw

"Go meet the guys. I'll be back soon." Aj said to Ella and Minnie

"What of you? Where are you going to?" Ella asked inquisitively

"Uhm I need to stop at a shop nearby to buy some candy" Aj said and by now Minnie was long gone to meet the guys. "Go after her so she doesn't get lost" Aj said

Back in the room in the arena given to team QGDZ, Minnie already made her way and found them but was having a bit of trouble getting in so she decided to bark hoping one of the guys would come open it for her and her wish came through because inside of the room, the guys heard the barking and after debating whether or not it was Minnie, they opened the door and Minnie walked into the room

"Where's your owner?" Kai who opened the door asked looking at both ends of the hallway to see if she was coming but Kai only received barks as reply

"Push the button marked with the letter T on her collar" Jordy said

"She went to buy candy" the translator on Minnie's collar said and the guys turned to Jordy with jaws dropped

"How did you know that was there?" Alex asked with narrowed eyes

"Aj brought Minnie to visit once in school. She left her with we guys when her friends dragged her to stage to introduce the competition that was being held" Jordy replied taking a sip from his cup of juice

"Wow looks like even Minnie accepts you" Xavy said planning on joining Alex in taunting Jordy when he saw Jordy pick Minnie up after tugging at him continuously

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jordy asked with an unreadable expression plastered on his face

"During our chat yesterday with Ella, we discovered that just as her owner, Minnie doesn't associate much with people but she too has realized that there's something going on between you two" Alex said

"And I totally agree with you" Ella who was just coming in said

"Me three" the translator on Minnie's collar translated making all of them burst into a peel of laughter

After a while, Aj came into the room with a large pack of candy. She dropped it on one of the couches before returning to join them at the table with one pack in hand. She dropped it on the table before turning her attention to the now quiet guys

"Why do I feel like you guys were gossiping about me behind my back?" Aj asked suspiciously

"We were just talking how great of a match you and Jordy would be together" Alex said making Aj slightly choke on the drink she had just taken a sip from

"I thought you guys already dropped this topic yesterday" Aj said and Ella decided to reply "Nope you only just tactically changed the subject and we decided to let you rest for a while so now we're back on it" and Aj merely sighed in response

Dami who was just entering into the room tried taking a candy out of the pack but immediately withdrew his hand back after it was hit by Aj

"Don't you dare touch my candy" Aj warned with a stern gaze but Dami wasn't about to give up yet "You can't be serious. You can't possibly be able to finish ALL THESE CANDY by yourself, at least give me some " Dami said
