When her mouth fell open, no sound came out. I guess I had always been the dominant one in our relationship, but I never made it too obvious. There was still time for me to get myself together, but I decided against it. The shadowy side of me realized she was now my hostage and I could abuse her anyway I pleased. Even though she didn't realize it at the time, something was changing in our relationship.

During our time together at Havard, she had yelled at me for not being completely honest with her.
