When his enormous hand slid up to rest on the front of my neck, practically enclosing it, I drew in a short gasp. He didn't make me feel threatened in the slightest, which was a pleasant surprise. As I realized how helpless I was in his grasp and how much control he had over me, though, desire filled my system instead. His authoritative but tender touch sent shivers down my spine, and sweat clung to my thighs.

My heart sprang as his touch traced the path of my frail artery. I let out a deep sigh and was only vaguely aware of its pleasurable nature. Suddenly, I was a lot lighter than usual, and I couldn't quite place my identity. Being with Nicola helped me overcome my fears and calm my racing thoughts. His massive frame, his distinctively manly aroma, and his deep, rumbling words of appreciation were all I could think about. He complemented my looks and said I was flawless. He had an angel looking out for him.
