Sofia's POV.

Flashback

If people were ever ashamed then not many girls would've been abused or raped. Not many people would've been bullied. And damn him for telling me to be ashamed. A guy with no feelings.

So I walked to a chair and I stand on it and took a glass of champagne.

/"May I have your attention, everybody./" I shouted on top of my lungs.

/"I'll kill you get the hell down, right now./" Benjamin whispered.

/"Will you shut up Benji./" I said still standing on the chair.

/"Now as I was saying ladies and gentlemen my husband here just said the word 'ashamed' to me. But you guys know nothing about him. He's an asshole, he thinks everyone is scared of him. But I am scared of him./" I took a long pause before I continued. Then again I heard Benjamin say 'stop wanting attention Sofia.' That was the last push I needed after he said that I broke down. My stepfather would always say 'I'm giving you attention rather than your mother. At least I care.' That old man knew nothing about care, he was just a fucking rapist. And my mother would always yell at me and say 'Stop wanting attention.' Benjamin made me remember all of this made me lose it.

/"Fuck you all the fucking VALENTINES. I curse the day I was born to them. Fuck you MARTIN BLACK I hope you are dead by now. Fuck you mommy dear Mary Valentine's Black. And fuck you Daddy for leaving me. Leaving me alone, with them./" I wiped my tears. It's time I stopped crying over everything. /" I see my dear husband burning up. Are you alright sweetheart?/" I giggled. /"You know the day before the wedding day he was sleeping around. That's my amazing husband to you. He makes me chase after his car every day whenever I'm going with him. So fuck you too BENJAMIN CARSON./" I am not scared of him anymore. I am tired of being innocent Sofia. /"I was 16 when /" before I finished Benjamin grabbed me. But I wasn't finished so I started hitting him. /"By the way Mr. Green you an ugly son of a bitch and Benjamin said You You have a soccer ball head./" I shouted.

Benjamin dragged me out and threw me in a car. Benjamin started blabbing but I just fell asleep in the car.

When I woke up the next day I was still in the car. The damn asshole didn't take me inside the house.

End of flashback

/"Mommy wake up its Father's Day, at school today./" Elijah jumped on the bed waking me up.

/"Get in the shower, uncle Marko will be there later./" I said and he started pouting at me. I knew he didn't want uncle Marko to come to school. But that's all I got for him.

/"No mommy, it's fine the teacher said if we don't have daddies we must not bring other people./" Oh god please give me strength this boy is making me guilty now. I bathed him and dressed him up quickly because I was running late. I just hope my boss doesn't fire me. This is my third job here in New York. The others I quit because they were all sick in the head. They all tried to make a move on me. So I quit.

As I started driving I could see Elijah angry staring out of the window. I know he blames his father, but he doesn't know he's got a son. And it's my fault. But all I'm doing is to protect my son because I know he's got, enemies. But he thinks I know nothing about his secrets.

/"Bye mommy./" Elijah kissed me on the cheek and I kissed him too. I love this son of mine so much, that I would kill for him. I don't know how someone can hate their child.

Third person's POV.

/"Where's your father Elijah./" A few boys walked up to him together and asked him. And they all started laughing at him.

/"My father is bu-busy./" Elijah replied not knowing what to actually say, because he also never saw his own father.

/"Mommas boy./" A five-year-old kid said laughing at him. Then the rest joined him.

From a distance, a man was watching the kids arguing. Until he saw Elijah bunch the other kid. And a teacher came to take them in.

/"My son would never fight with anyone. This boy started it./" Grey shouted as he pointed at Elijah saying he is the one that started with my kid.

/"No, I did not. Dorian and his father are both lying./" Elijah said trying to defend himself from a five-year-old boy and his father.

/"Where's your father? He's not here, no wonder he doesn't want to be embarrassed because of you./" Dorian's father, Mr Grey said making poor Elijah almost cry. But the teacher just left because she got a call.

/"My father loves me./" Elijah sticks his tongue out as a tear dropped from his eyes. Dorian and his father both laughed at him. Just then a man walked in and looked at Dorian and his father. The mysterious man started laughing at them

/"If I was you I would get away from my son before I teach you some manners. Old man./" Benjamin said crossing his arm angry at Dorian's father for bullying a small kid, younger than his son.
