Benjamin's POV.
It's been two months since Sofia has been kidnapped. Last month I finally swallowed my pride and asked Damien for help. I know I will find Sofia quickly if Damien and I work together.
Every day since Sofia was kidnapped I went back to that school I met Elijah and I haven't seen him once. The teacher said his mother and him left.
But that's a big lie because I have seen that woman, a girl, and Elijah together. Even though they were trying to act happy I could see Elijah sad. But the daughter wasn't as sad as any of them. She was actually fine.
What happened to the family I kept wondering. Did someone pass away? I get why the woman is sad, Sofia was her best friend after all. But the boy, he looks like someone who lost both his parents.
