His lips curved into a smile. "The same goes for you." She replied confidently. "Then what will you do to me?" He asked her. Yelena pointed at her wound. "I'll shoot you. The pain will be two folds compared to this." She said with a devilish smile. She then leaned towards him and whisper in his ear. "You may not know, but I'm a good shooter." Felix chuckled at her response. "Is this how it feels to have a soldier as a girlfriend? But why do I have a feeling that you will try to shoot me even if I upset you a little?" He teased her. "Will you make me upset then?" She said with a serious tone. "No, ma'am!" The Heiress

Yelena stood in front of the extravagant main building of the TR Group. The spacious building was known for its enchanting design and advanced technology. It was the largest office building throughout Silveren.

It was the day after she was assigned to her new mission. Her mother called her non-stop since last night and asked her to meet her. The Prince will not have any official event for the day; so she could make the time as the VIP will not be going out for the day.

After ignoring her mother for hours, she finally gave in and agreed to meet her at her office. Whenever it comes to her mother, Yelena realized that she could not win against her. Joining the army was the only exception.

She reluctantly entered the building and took out her smartphone to call her mother. But she was hesitant to do so as it had been years since she called her first.

The top floor where the Chairwoman's office located was guarded by several security guards all the time. Yelena was sure that she won't be able to walk past them alone; but she still hesitated on the idea of calling her mother.

After pondering for a while, she walked to the reception counter and decided to ask the female receptionist.

"Excuse me. Can you call the Chairwoman's office and tell her that I'm here to meet her?" She formally asked the receptionist.

The receptionist scanned Yelena from head to toe. The latter was simply dressed in a casual dress, not even a business attire. Why did a woman like her try to meet the Chairwoman? She gave Yelena a doubtful look.

"I'm sorry, Miss. The Chairwoman is currently having an important meeting. She can't be disturbed now." The receptionist answered her in a formal yet cold tone.

"Then I'll wait for her at the lobby. Can you notify me when she's done?" Yelena calmly asked once again.

The former Yelena would have already throw a tantrums in this situation; but the present Yelena is much more patient than before. She developed all these traits in the Army.

"Do you have an appointment?" The receptionist almost rolled her eyes at Yelena, but she barely hold back herself. She finds the young woman too shameless.

"I'm -"

"If you don't, then please leave. The Chairwoman cannot meet just anyone." The receptionist coldly brushed Yelena's off before she could introduce herself.

"Just anyone?" Yelena smirked. Her patience had reached its limits now. She placed both of her palms on the table and looked at the receptionist sharply straight in the eyes.

The receptionist could feel the chills from her cold gaze!

"Call the Chairwoman's office and inform her that Yelena Arista is here to meet her. Right this instant." Yelena said to the receptionist in a firm and confident manner.

The receptionist eyes grew wide open when she heard the name!

Yelena Arista?! Isn't she the only daughter and heiress of the Chairwoman? She's doomed!

She started to panicked until she realized that the Chairwoman's daughter was still waiting for her to make the call.

She grabbed the telephone with her wobbly hands and make the call right away. She then personally escort Yelena to the top floor after she apologized to her a number of times; hoping that the heiress was not the type to hold grudges.

Yelena was greeted by her mother's personal secretary who recognized her at one glance. She was about to enter the office room when she received a call from Lt. Morris.

"What is it?"

"Captain, the VIP is not here!"

"What do you mean? Explain."

"I don't know how he left the Guest House. We find out just now. I already sent our men to look for him."

Yelena was in a daze. She understands that she should return right away; but then the secretary opened the door for her. She decided to step inside and tell her mother that she had an urgent matter.

She walked inside and the luxurious office appears on the picture. Her mother was standing there, shaking hands with a young man.

"Captain, will I ask for more team to search the VIP?" She heard Morris's voice from the other line.

Yelena examined the young man next to her mother. It was him again! But what was he doing here?

"There's no need. I've found him. You better brace yourself for the time I return." She ended the call right away, leaving the person on the other line in an anxious state.

Yelena's voice alerted her mother and Prince Felix who both turned around to look at her. Then Prince Felix smiled and walked towards her.

"Did you follow me here?" He asked with a playful smile.

"In your dreams. Why did you run off alone?" Yelena snapped, unable to suppressed her disappointment. What if he got himself in danger?

Mrs. Vanessa Arista came to them with a friendly smile. "Did you know each other? What a surprise!" She exclaimed. The Prince looked at her with a perplexed face.

Mrs. Arista put her hands on Yelena's shoulder and said to the Prince. "This is my only daughter, Yelena Arista. She came here to meet me."

"Your daughter?" The Crown Prince blinked in surprise. So, she was not here for him? But how did the only heiress of the Chairwoman became a soldier? He became more and more curious about this unpredictable woman.

"I never thought that the only daughter of the prestigious TR Group would be a soldier." The Prince stated with a light chuckle.

Mrs. Vanessa was quite startled by the Prince's words. How did he know that her daughter was a soldier? She tried to say something but Yelena stopped her.

"Mother, let's talk another time. I have to escort the Prince back to the Guest House, so I'll come again next time." Yelena said to her mother.

She carefully chose her words, trying her best to remain respectful towards her mother. Though there was a crack in their relationship, she would never wanted to humiliate her mother in front of others. She looked at the Prince and urged him to leave with her.

"There's no need for that, Mrs. Arista. Have a chat with your daughter. I will wait in the other room. You can take your time." The Prince suggested.

"I can't make you wait for me. Besides what would I do if you run away again? I cannot trust you." Yelena strongly retorted.

Prince Felix amost laughed at her words. "Run away? Look who's talking. I already said that I would wait. Listen. I'm a true Royal by blood and I won't break my words or run away; unlike someone." He declared with a bit of sarcasm.

Yelena sigh at his words. He won't forget what she did. What if he keeps on bringing up this topic in the future? She didn't even want to think about it.

"I never intended to run away." Yelena scowled.

Mrs. Vanessa Arista quietly observed the two young people who kept on arguing with each other right before her. Weren't these two supposed to be her guests? Did they already forget about her presence in the room? They made the richest and most influential businesswoman of the whole country doubt her worth!

Then her gaze focused on her usually quiet daughter. She never once saw her this talkative during the past years! She also realized that her daughter was really comfortable with the Prince. She wondered what's going on between her arrogant daughter and her esteemed business partner.....
