Chapter 7-Dark Metal Market

" Th...Thank you very much for sparing our lives Madam Sovereign" the bald man stuttered as he tried to kowtow but the whip around them caused him to drag the other four towards the ground with him. " Hmmph" Tora turned and left the scene.

"Tsk.... Annoying brat" Adleck snorted and turned towards the bald man and company with a cold look on his face. " As for you four, for making me lose face this badly in front of that bitch who came out of nowhere and outshined me in my city, it's only death that awaits you" Adleck added coldly and took out a black tier dagger and stabbed the bald man in the head. His lifeless body fell. He couldn't even scream. " Wait please don't kill us. We'll work for you or anything. Please just spare us.

The others tried to beg him to spare their lives. Without batting an eye Adleck killed them all in cold blood. He was merciless.

Before him, they were nothing but ants.

" One day, I'll teach you to fear me" He muttered inwardly as he stared at the direction Tora had taken out of Monsor alley.

Ace on the other hand was heading to the dark metal market branch present in the city. The dark metal market is large market which has its roots in every location in the country. It was organized by the Dark Fang. It enables even ordinary people to purchase dark metal and use it freely provided the weapon had been registered under the Dark Fang.

Ace had made well to dodge spawn hunters who were patrolling the streets. Though he now had a token to prove himself free, he didn't want to go through unnecessary stress.

He entered the market with no stress or whatsoever which surprised him as there were usually guards placed at the entrance. Today apparently they were absent. "What's going on?" he wondered but shrugged and began to search for the items he required.

" Did you hear??" one guy in casual clothing asked loudly. His two friends grew curious and urged him to tell what he had in mind.

"Garth from Del Bros apparently brought a black tier gate spawn. It was a large boar. With this the Del Bros could be very rich from the dark metal they would obtain. Lucky bastards. " he ended with a sigh. The friends were very interested in the matter and began to discuss it. "They had requested the Dark Fang to do business with them on it. That's why the guards took off to handle the matter. They are the only ones who were given such authority as it was related to the market. Their replacement will be arriving soon I heard. " the guy continued. Ace had been eavesdropping on them and when the topic of black boar was discussed he was extremely pissed. He finally knew who had screwed with him.

" Del Bros huh. I should have known. Those scum. I'll deal with them before I leave here. " he thought as he clenched his fist. He was burning to take revenge.

" Now where can I find quality bullets to buy" he thought with an interested look as he stared around.

" Mark whom I usually purchased from was caught and imprisoned for some crimes he had committed. I'll have to find someone else." he added inwardly.

" Hey young man. Come to my store. You can easily obtain a high black tier dark metal sword. I'll give it to you at a discount price. You won't regret it." a salesman spoke with a convincing tone as he tried to lead Ace to his store. " Ignore the old fool. I can see you use guns. Clearly you would need a dagger for close range attacks. Come to my store. We have lots of options for you to choose from" another salesman butted in and tried to take Ace from the former salesman towards his store. "Piss off. He's mine" the other guy roared angrily. " When did he decide that? Get lost you loser" the latter salesman retorted. They began to bicker. " Let the young man decide then. Who do you prefer?" they asked Ace simultaneously and realized he was gone. " It's your fault" " No it's yours" they continued to bicker.
