Fallen for the Forbidden Alpha

"Mike." She gasped and whined when Michael suddenly broke their kiss.   "Little wolf, I'm about to ravish and violet your body in a way that every wolf out there would smell who you belong to." 20. The Kiss

He was gripping the sides of the couch vigorously yet absentmindedly. He had no clue whatsoever about his body's functions as he seemed hell-bent on inducing his wolf towards a soothing path. His face was emotionless, even though anger was radiating off his perfect pale skin.

His hands were balled into fists and tugging at the poor coverlet so furiously that made Evelyn to believe he had the mind to tear it into shreds. His knuckles had gone dead pale long ago. They'd been sitting in silence for moments now. Merely seconds had gone by but in that bothering, deathly silence, they seemed to have endured a torturous whole decade.

Evelyn's heart was thumping as loud and shakingly as it could at his awful calmness. However even her wolf knew that he was a far way from peace. His wolf was growling with the need of blood, he craved for screams and wails coming from his victims. They could've been the only source for his calmness now that his mate had unleashed the terrible beast dwelling inside of him for all this long, a much feral beast.

She was losing every bit of hope she had hold onto while speaking to him about last night. She knew the only reason he'd still stayed so dreadfully calmed was because of the promise he made not quite long ago. No wonder he was scared and worked-up because of the prior safety of his mate who he'd surely put in threat if his wolf came out and latched onto her.

That was what he wanted or rather desired. He wanted to mark her right at this moment and make her understand her place. His wolf was adamant to mark her his and show all the wolves out their who she genuinely belonged to. Evelyn could feel all of those dangers just by a mere look of his eyes. She thought right, there was no saying when he'd lose it.

Nothing could guarantee his actions now, not even Moon Goddess.

Evelyn could perceive his struggle as he avoided her gaze, her face, her scent lingering in the air he breathed. She gulped down the knot forming in her throat and gathered all her courage. She knew not the consequences except that she was the one to sow the seeds of his struggle and pain. William had tortured him all those years and she was unwittingly blindly following in her father's steps.

'How unfortunate he is to have someone as myself as his mate!' She squealed in her head as hot tears began to stream down her eyes.

However, upon feeling their presence Evelyn was more depressed and displeased at her pathetic behaviour. She was mad that how easily she could cry and how little she knew or was aware of her responsibilities as a mate. How weak she was and how immature that she couldn't even comfort her mate in struggle.

All the taunts passed by her uncles and father came rushing back in her mind, all the names they used to call her with. They called her immature, childish, foolish, extremely unladylike, absurd, pathetic and what suited her the best was damaged goods.

Evelyn didn't feel nor had hoped for him to be snooping into her head as a low growl erupted like thunder from his chest. His skin was barely vibrating but the shudder from the aftereffects of that sound was still visible on Evelyn's skin as goosebumps raised at her nape and arms.

She was boring her eyes into her lap when a finger wrapped below her chin and alleviated her face with no trouble. She was hesitant but gazed into his eyes and the softness in them had her instantly melted like before. His brows were crinkled in confusion but he managed to look cute in that expression.

"Don't ever call yourself that." He reprimanded in the lightest tone ever even though authority and demand was standing bright as day in his tone.

Evelyn was still not convinced as a sob escaped her lips and her eyes watered. It was the hardest thing for a wolf to witness his mate in pain and right now observing his mate's misery, Michael's wolf forgot all that had been in his mind. He was now determined on making his mate feel better as her inner struggle was creating the same havoc in his almost steady emotions.

His thumb was rubbing smooth circles on her cheeks and before she could understand her position in the situation, he kissed her raw. At first it was just his lips tugging at her soft and velvety ones and soon enough, drawing blood. Evelyn wasn't bothered by the wetness though, she didn't seem to feel that her lips were spurting out fresh hot blood, an appeasing meal for his wolf.

She was lost in the sweetness of his kiss and the torture of his fangs. He was patient yet marking her with stubbornness as if he was meaning to prove himself something. Without further delay, she offered him the bare access to her mouth and he used the opportunity to propel his tongue deep inside her throat.

She moaned loudly as he continued to tease her with his passionate torture, momentarily knocking her out of breaths. She demonstrated the equal passion and hunger in return of his kiss and let her hands lock around his neck for support. His arms were quick to snake around her waist, pulling her impossibly close to his stiffened chest as a low purr emerged from it.

A smile formed on her lips as she realized what had just happened. His wolf was purring in delight at her slightest touch. Under any other circumstance, Michael's wolf would've let go of Evelyn after the accidental bite on her lips but now, he was obstinate and hell-bent on making her his; the consequences be damned.

Their hearts were going wild, hundreds of beats per minute. They're panting secretly under the kisses, not very keen to draw away any moment soon. It was like the humans in them had gone completely numb and their body were in control of the hungry beasts who hadn't been fed in ages. They found their meals in each other and there was no holding back.

At last Michael drew back, not too restless but rather worried as his wolf seemed to lowly whine in defeat. Evelyn was shocked at the sudden jolt from his unpredictable action but didn't show her emotions openly.

Only now could she feel the open wound on her bottom lip which was healing in bits. Michael was still holding onto her firmly, closely than life itself. His forehead was perched on top of hers. His breaths were fanning her face and both of their eyes were closed. They're savouring this moment as they both gasped for air in silence.

"I l-liked that." Evelyn calmly yet shyly admitted.

A smirk stretched on Michael's lips upon hearing her words but swiftly his face was covered in dimness. He pulled back from that intimate and passionate hug and made her look deep into his eyes.

With ever so serious gaze, he muttered in a husky tone, "You're the most valuable, most precious gift to me. I don't know what that idiot has told you but believe it or not, you are my lucky charm." He pecked on her lips one last time and gazed her intently to inspect if she had other queries.

"Are you n-not m-mad at me?" Evelyn was no longer the fierce luna she was last night, all her bravery seemed to burn into ashes when his aura was empowering her own, making her feel safe yet intimated and causing her to stutter like a toddler.

His jaws were clenching together as he forced a smile on his face to not scare her off. "You did it to save me. And you're still mine so there's not much to be angry about." He caressed her cheek with the back of his hand as she drank her tears back.

"But—" His finger was resting on top of her lips as he shushed her making her feel like a child. He brought her face close to hers and pecked on her forehead.

"Let's go." She gave him a perplexed look, clearly unaware of his intentions as he flashed a momentary grin at her. "Don't you want to see the surprise?" He asked and clasped her wrist in between his grip before walking away, dragging her behind.

She was still bemused because of the events but he didn't fail in making her feel enthusiastic towards his plan.

'He's something else, something entirely else.' She thought.
