The Weight of Responsibilities and Titles

Overlooking Frantoch, Zac leaned over a balcony in Lightning Chateau's tallest tower.

In one hand, Zac clung to the Lightning Lord's seal. His gaze softened the more he stared at the golden emblem and crest. "... Dad… I hope you know what you're doing. But I sure as crux don't."

Zac then looked to his other hand. He was carefully clinging to a freshly written scroll, barely old enough for the ink and wax seal to dry. He ran his thumb over the newly-pressed wax seal.

Suddenly, Zac felt something rub up against his back.

Chuckling to force a change of mood, Zac turned around. "Kizt, sorry for taking so long. I have an urgent message for my father. He's in a Rangar and I need you to reach him as fast as your wings will carry you. The longer Dad is away, the greater the risk of the city getting captured."

Koooohhh!!
